    how to i prevent twisting?

Focus on keeping your body straight. If you're twisting, it's likely that either your legs or your arms are going to the side. Make sure your shoulders aren't leaning to one side or at an angle. I would do a bunch of front walkovers, front handspring step outs and then move to one handed front hand spring step outs. This will help you learn the body position, gain the power, and practice until you're ready to remove your hands. Before transitioning to no hands, you can also do a delayed front handspring step out by jumping onto your hands and trying to remove them fast.
