Being asexual is *not being interested in doing sexual things in a relationship*, not *not being interested in a relationship in general*. They used to be officially together, though Clockwork's creator broke them up afterwards. Toby being asexual was stated by the 'ask Ticci Toby' Many years ago, where it was stated Toby believes he might be bisexual or/and asexual.

It must’ve been so difficult for a character Kastoway reflected his inner feelings onto to be treated so poorly by the fandom. Ticci Toby was and still is treated as some silly child whose personality revolves around a love for waffles, when Kastoway clearly wrote for him to be a far more complex character. The situation Kastoway was put in was taxing on him and I’m certain that he loved his character, just not what the fandom chose to do with him. Again, be kind! ☺️
