This is truly one of the peak arknights fan contents. It may sounds selfish of me but i really hope you can continue doing this operator hindsight series without feeling burnout.
i'll always said it, Zuo are the perfect example of great powercreep became strong while still stay true to his own arctype gimmick and not by ignoring it.
Honestly Hellagur was kind of wasting the potential of this class to begin with so I'm not upset at all at this kind of powercreep. When powerceep sucks is when it happens to characters that were already amazing. Or when the powercreep invalidates a classes gimmick like you said
It's crazy that this busted operator is quite underrated for both pull rating and within community. He packed DPS, sustain, survivability in a unit and do well in said aspect. Not so high DPH is to balance with how fast he can attack and his damage output is no joke. Labor-intensive is not really worth calling a cons because in upside it give player control over when to use skill. Personally I have absolute blast playing him. Give him a blocker and he will take care of everything else (that is not drones). Or with some map knowledge he can even solo laneholding for the entire stage with good skill timing.
Maleknights eating good with the Zuo Le + Gnosis combo. Zuo Le's S2 and S3 both basically sync up perfectly with Gnosis S3 for maximum Fragility exploitation, and Zuo's S3 also is fast enough to combo with Gnosis S2 for reliable big burst damage.
I've had his module for 3 days now (focused on his module after getting Shu's module). If you haven't done it already, consider placing him as your main base assistant cuz that'll get you 2-4% extra trust twice a day as well as just run him on every comp lol
Another one weakness of Zuo le to note is Necrosis. Enemy's Necrosis makes your operators unable to use their skill and decrease their SP for a whopping 15 seconds which is practically a death sentence for Zuo le since he relies a lot on spamming his skill to stay alive. And being an enmity op means that the only operator capable of healing E-damage for him (currently) is EyjaAlter with S1.
tbh Necrosis isn't much of a problem for Zuo Le, since he can almost gain his skill back right after the necrosis burst ends, his barrier from S3 lasts till the necrosis burst ends, same goes for the S2(based on how much barrier he had)
@@Huanka-c8w S2 has less problem with it since you can activate it right before Necrosis burst but it still increase his skill downtime by a bit which can be a matter of leaking enemy or dying in some situation. But for S3 it's a huge problem. Normally, you use Zuo le S3 in place where he's under a lot of pressure because he wants to maintain

zuo le is my favourite operator honestly, i always liked operators which have some sort of healing, and zuo le has one of the best and most satisfying talent-skill synergies ever

I can feel the Operator Release was somewhat form a wave. the release of operator from Typhon to Wis'adel was somehow on the high level graph so they decided to lay low after the Walter anniversary but remains consistent with low impact but then again they have no modules yet so they have chance to improve. For instance the 4 star release was alternate Less-More-Less-More

i've always found soloblades weird. they have high hp but heal in flat numbers, meaning that the amount they heal is comparatively low. in theory, it also means that the damage impact they receive is low, but in practise their low defense and lack of res makes it harder for them to recover from damage, and it just makes it harder for them to go below the half hp threshold. this does, of course, make it harder to go back above 50%, but that was never really the problem since their healing increases with hp loss and they have sanctuary at low hp via module.
Soloblades suffer from being one of the first guard types added when the game was new so they were designed around the enemies low stats at the time But when the game got harder they got stat creeped hard and most of them fell off

i think its because of stunning them causes their atk stacks to gradually decay, so his S3 is really good at stalling them, unsure if the CC tags makes them stun immune though
If it's placing a defender combo, imo the Sentinels like Liskarm or Blitz would be the best option for Zuo Le. Liskarm especially bc she's a skill battery herself XD

So, yeah, the cannon placement shown in the video is good for... casual players and general use...? But if you wanted to optimize Zuo Le's S3 damage specifically and not use Stainless S3 for supplementary damage as much, you'd place the cannon position slightly differently

Hi! I've a question about the numbers shown on S3. They seem to be calculated with Zuo Le having a base ATK of 936, but as far as I know, he maxes out at 910. Am I missing something or is it a simple mistake?
Anyone should feel welcome to correct me, but I believe the general consensus is that Zuo Le is not a unit that will greatly boost your account in the way that Thorns does. Even though Thorns has somewhat fallen off after 4 years, he is still very reliable in 90% of the game's content, while Zuo Le really shines on the rest 10% extremely sweaty hard content. I have tried to replace Mountain with Zuo Le and it hasn't been very consistent or smooth. That is because his archetype inherently makes him very situational, while mountain is the opposite, a true generalist that you put down and forget about it. I would say 8/10 times their S2 were comparable and easily interchangeable but 2/10 times Zuo Le would get overwhelmed before I could press his skill to raise his block count, get destroyed by ranged enemies, or die via environmental factors, like the old toxic mist or the poisoned water in this event. He is also unable to be healed by normal healers like mountain or thorns, he needs either shu's talent or a strong bard like SkadiAlter, but then that defeats the purpose of him staying low health via the barriers, ie high risk - high reward. If he's always passively healed by them, he doesn't get the boosted SP and spammable skills which he's designed for. Thorns has : AFK, good dps up to medium to elit defence enemies, some Arts DOT which proved very useful in some events with weird mechanics (same as Blue Poison and other DOT units), self healing, unconditional 2 block, big range and can attack aerial units. He is mostly used for daily general content, afk runs, or annihilation. Zuo Le on the other hand has: spammable stun for up to 3 enemies usually, fairs better against higher defense enemies than thorns, Tenacity-Barrier buff when low on health+ attack speed, self healing through attacking (70 per attack if you unlock module, which is worse than other HP% healing mountain and Thorns has, he is also again unhealable normally). I see him being used more to 1v1 bosses and elites, and he will get more action with harder content like Contingency Contract. I believe Thorns to be the better pick for E2ing first.
Still a very fun unit, and although my Guards are absolutely cracked, I plan to use him a lot in the upcoming months. For me at least, he is very fun, but considering he really needs his module level 3 and some masteries in his skills to pop off, I wouldn't recommend prioritising him.

Agree, high dph is the only thing that make up for current burst standard. Dont really like her s3 long cycle and her sp talent. They can actually reduce the sp directly by 14s since 40+ sp is too massive for smoller range melee dps like her. And instead giving her other interesting talent that she actually need like damage reduction/shelter (since enemies stun immune truly killing her), or maybe interesting kit like having chance to deal bigger splash damage on offskill and onskull

It's marginal, but flagbearer module can be used to give him +1 block (Saileach can even heal and buff his DEF with S2).

The last time we ever seen enemies deal necro damage was from Ch 10 or 11. I don't think it's a big deal

Everyday, I get my fill of hand exercises just by using Zuo Le's S3, only one arm though.
I like Shu so much I wound up with a pot 5 Zuo Le before I got Shu. Now I pretty much have to use the worst farmer in all of AK.

Having Executor, La Pluma, Mudrock, Zuo Le, Utage and Hellagramps in my team I started taking interest in Enmityknights.
