      Thanks! I’ve been rocking the PM2 this past week for the first time in months and it amazes me every time I go back to it just how slick the design and deployment of that knife is.

      @@HardOnGearChannel I think with recent years the PM2 has been put on the back burner ! Let’s be honest ! As a folder we don’t need fixed blade level of strength ! The PM2 is a balance of heavy duty and light duty folder !
      By the way, love the channel , great content , and I am so curious about your self defense fix blade the “condor” ? Where can I find this ???

    Was being out of the Military a planned move?

    • @HardOnGearChannel
      @HardOnGearChannel  ปีที่แล้ว

      In short, no. I wanted to do AT LEAST one 3-year contract. This was more of an adaptation to go to the contingency plan that I had in place if my back/body didn’t hold up to Infantry training.
      I put a video out couple of months ago discussing it in detail. It’s the only one with my big gingery bearded face in the thumbnail. “Big Channel/Life Update” or something like that.

      @@HardOnGearChannel thank you for the reply. I missed the video where you talked about it all.

      Just a Marlon 30-30 for a few days, but there are no rifle or bow seasons open in my area until late summer now, so it’ll just be me and heavy oak walking stick in the interim. Maybe a slingshot…

    How long were you in the Army ?
    You guys don't have a 3 or 4 yr military service contract ???
    Keep up the great work !!!

      Ended up being 14 months in total. Typically 3 year contracts, but there’s always the option to voluntarily release-unless we were at war, I’d imagine.
      Essentially my body was taking a beating and with the current shape of the post-covid military… I chose to get out in one piece rather to be fucked around for a few years in a broken system on medical chits trying to pass Battle school with screwed up back.
      The video with the thumbnail “Huge Channel/Life Update” from a couple of months ago went into the details if you want the full scoop.
      Thanks dude 🍻
