Wonderful song by our little pigeon! Miku has one song on most albums where she is lead vocals. My favourite Band-Maid track by her is 'Time'. She has just released a new song today as Cluppo too! Check it out!
@@GaryHolloway-810 Had strange day today Gary...felt odd...Not sure how to explain...Weather here very nice today....so went for a walk...(listened to Cluppo EP 3 times and "Maid In Japan" twice)...I felt a..a slight lift?....in mood....The sun was shinning Miku and ladies in my ears..it was nice...But when I got home I had a come down..and had a little bit of an emotional crash...And I don't know why...I looked for any new reactions to the ladies (not much out there to day)..But instead watched a video by a reactor about their mental health. I spent 2+ hrs writing a reply...then deleted it....Made some tea..How watching movie reactions...and have open two other windows with POV videos of travel in Japan..(one from the front of a train..the other walking POV.)...I felt like..something was gonna happen..something not good.....As in....no matter what I'd like to or want to do...something is gonna take it away...All this despite having another BAND-MAID T-shirt turn up.(non official).
@@Bodneyblue I won't lie, that sounds like a depressive mood & it's understandable why you would have them. It's important to focus on the parts of the day that were uplifting cos it's easy to fall back into that dark area. I can only help you with words of encouragement cos i'm not an expert but you do have friends in the Maidiac community :)

Sudden I'll health triggered it....I even had MRI scans as the docs thought I may have had a brain tumour because I started stuttering real bad. The loss of my partner compounded things....(also lost my beloved cat to a tumour)..Really feels everything good in my life has been taken away. BAND-MAID have become the light in my darkness...Hence the crazy move to try and win a ticket to see them.(was not really expecting to win). But as I am one of those lucky enough to win in the BAND-MAID ticket lottery...so very much unexpected.....I am not sure what to do now...I am used to letting myself down...but I don't want to let the ladies down....They won't know one way or the other if I am there or not....But I will..and that would mean I let them down..And I really don't want to do that...And I do really really really want to see them. Being it in Japan is about as good as it could get and being the opening concert of their 10th Anniversary year it will be something else I'm sure...So being able to say I was there would be unbelieveable....But to be there, there are so many factors I have to over come...and it scares me I won't lie....I'm not scary of flying. Have been to Greece a couple of times, and also been up in a helicopter. It was aboard the Coastguard Seaking IndiaJuliet out of the Solent Coastguard station in Gosport..It was a leaving gift from the Officers of the naval base me and my partner worked at when we left to move to Scotland...I have loved aircraft all my life (step father used to take me aircraft spotting to the airports in London when I was a young kid)...Have many military aircraft books, and used to play combat flight simulators....It's more to do with dealing with the officialdom of booking flights and hotels, paper work and such. It's something I have never done..barely ever ordered a taxi!..(don't drive)...My late partner used to deal with all that sort of thing. She was a very good organiser...probably why she was my direct boss at work...hehe...she was 10 years older than me...I also procrastinate ALOT!.....I always leave things to the last minute then run around panicing and getting very stressed...So being able to leave this kind of thing to my partner was great...She enjoyed knowing she was in control and things would get done..ticking things off as she went...There were things she tought I was better at when we were out....like knowing where we were going!...she would always let me make the decisions on which direction we should go..no matter where it was..She thought my sense of direction was much better than hers and would follow no matter where I said..." this way, that way" etc...haha...( I really had no idea either...but she trusted my directions)...Sorry I'm waffling again.

I say this every time: I LOVE this song so much! My favorite song on the masterpiece that is the Unseen World album. This live performance is outstanding, as is the acoustic version. Miku’s absolute finest moment, IMO. Oh, btw, her sensei, Kanami, is full on crazy this whole song as well. This is a testament to their outstanding teacher/student relationship over the years, IMO.
Some of the earlier BAND-MAID songs had Saiki and Miku trading off on lead verses. Miku is also the lead/solo singer on a few BAND-MAID songs. They are: 'Summer Drive', 'Big Dad', 'Beauty and The Beast', 'TIME', 'Rock In Me' and this one: 'サヨナキドリ - Nightingale'. She also has a more Pop focused side project called "cluppo". The cluppo EP titled 'hatofull', was released on March 9th, 2022. The songs 'Peace&Love', 'Flapping Wings' and 'POGO' all have music videos. BTW, the guitar that Miku is playing in this video is her "Flappy Pigeon" signature model from Zemaitis.
Miku's hatchday is October 21, when they will be playing their Dallas show. I think some people in the crowd are planning to sing to her. Hope there's footage! 😄🕊️

The acoustic version of Sayonakidori is even better :D (but it's kinda hard to find it here on YT), nonetheless thanks for your reaction, I think Miku's vocals are always a bit dismissed by people but she has quite a nice range

There is another version of this song you will like from their online acoustic concert, and that version only has the pretty pigeon singing while playing her acoustic guitar, Misa on bass, and Akane playing drums and singing the back-up vocal lines. From what I understand Miku did the arrangement herself and Kanami was very proud of her. There are a few other songs where she sings solo/lead vocals, usually with Kanami providing backing vocals. "Time" and "Rock in Me" are two of them I can think of right now.
While I like this original version a lot, the most definitive version has got to be her acoustic version performed during the Christmas concert of 2021. There seems to be a version at "th-cam.com/video/thjcufr_6tc/w-d-xo.html" if you want to check it out (or even react to it...). Hope you love this version as much as I do.
