For my 2008 lexus rx350 I was able to program the remote to start the engine and drive the car, but I cannot program the buttons of the remote to lock and unlock the car or open the gate. What am I doing wrong?
Hard to say without being there, but it should certainly be able to program those remotes. Have you tried deleting all the existing remotes to start from scratch?

I have enough keys and Fobs i need to program that makes this device pay for itself. My 1st bidirectional tool and 1st time programming keys and fobs. It has the option for pay for access to other vehicles, like Toyota for example. I figured if someone else would like to use my scanner they can pay for the firmware but I'm good with GM. I'm still learning what all it's capable of. I currently have a car I just got running again after it being in flood. The motor didn't lock but I have some electrical issues.

Yes. This video is showing that. I had no remotes and was able to program them both.
Do u have to pay xtra subscription for the immo programmer for keys and fobs?

What year and model do you have? Supposedly it may not work on 2020+ Toyotas.

Without having it in front of me, it's hard to say, but that tool should work for it.
What's the X431 model name? or same one?
X431 PAD. It's super fast, the largest screen and heavy.
Which one is better, the x431 3+ pro or the elite?
Both are great! I prefer the larger screen on the 3+, but that's about the only change I really see.
