Dare I say it, this is one of, if not, THE best Mortal Kombat game to date!
A deep, technical fighter, Mortal Kombat X/XL has completely blown me away. This is a FANTASTIC Mortal Kombat game. It's so much more refined than it's predecessor 'Mortal Kombat 9', I feel almost everything has been improved.
The core new distinguishing feature of Mortal Kombat X/XL, is that every character now has three unique 'Variations' to choose from. And each variation comes with it's own unique moves and combos! This in effect, makes mirror matches totally different!
A MUST BUY Mortal Kombat game. A MUST BUY!
Also, with the XL edition, you get all characters, costumes/skins and so on from the get go!

Liu Kang will forever be my favorite in every way.
He's always been my favorite character as well. Its why I'm not too happy with how he was treated in MKX, especially story wise. I enjoy using both Flame Fist and Dragon Fire variations, but he still just doesn't feel as good as he should be. In the last game, MK 2011, he was almost fucking unstoppable.
I'm very dissapointed how they turned him into a revenant and they didn't even bother adding the kickass deception zombie liu kang -_-
Lucian Nelson Meh. Zombie Liu sort of felt like a slap in the face to me. That's why whenever I play Deception I always pick his alt costume where he's living.

To me, Leatherface is the BEST character in the game, next to Triborg! Leatherface's moves, skills and everything about him are outstanding! But when it comes to favorite horror film, for me, its John Carpenter's "Halloween." Great Tower walkthrough with the best character in the game, GSTAR! I hope you do Jason or Triborg next! =D

I got this game coming in the mail today.
I usually tend to like the video game titles on the unpopular side of any series, mk4 and armageddon come to mind, but i love this game, it is my favorite newer mortal kombat game, with 4 being my favorite.
