They are Tai Khamti from India. So obviously they are mixed with other Indians. Same way Thai mixed with Khmers, Tai from China mix with other Chinese, Tai from Myanmar mixed with Burmese

DNA -- scienctific result, so if you want to argue, search for other scientific results to support your counter arguments, not imagination. KH just changed their name from Chol Chnam Thmei to Sankranta in just a couple of years with disagreement from KH abroad they should keep their own name instead of following their neighbors.
