horrible technique my dudes. how about glasses , gloves, respirator, and knee pads. you can get lower center of gravity and core strength and better angle. the tiles come up easier and in less pieces.
We removed all the tile in the home this is what is left under the refrigerator, glasses yes , gloves usually yes the tiles were coming up fairy easy, dust extractors are in the home pushing over 10,000 cubic feet of air out of the home in a minute to mitigate the dust
A Bosch chipping hammer, this is the 21st century and as many times as I’ve hammer and chiseled jobs before we had these tools I dread it. A tile or two is one thing not a whole house
@@Americanfloorscrapinggwe've all been there and done that until you learn a lesson the hard way. Happened to me already, some do get luckier than others but take it from me it ain't worth risking a serious injury. All it takes is that one mistake.
That tile was not installed correctly. Look at that terrible coverage of the mortar or the mastic or whatever the hell they used
I’m not sure what they used I think it was thinset but i didn’t look close enough, we had to hurry up for a few reasons
I bought some cool flat blades for my sawzall that pops tile up the same way. And they were cheap as hell.
Not a bad idea never thought about that

I think you are using a tool to remove the tiles. Not your hands..

Good job but need to wear safety glasses and gloves. That tile is sharp!
Yes, sometimes we forget just in the moment to get it done
