Mate, just be careful with sticking the velcro over the adhesive backing. It's designed to peel off the actual adhesive easily so you run the risk of it peeling off if enough force is placed on the pads. Best practise is peel it off and sick the velcro on the actual adhesive that way you have the security of the glue from the velcro AND the pads together. Ride safe mate, fellow V11 owner here... frikkin' love it!
Hey yeah thank you, Yes, the paper adhesive has been peeled off the powerpad where the Velcro is. I just left the other paper adhesive cover on the other areas to reduce dust and sand collection on the adhesive.
@@jc84com Ah gotcha! Didn’t realise you had already done that. I’m using Gen 2 Clark Pads myself. I’ve only got the Velcro on the plastic shaft from just above the screws to the bottom of the chrome logo plate. The pads came with screw slots and longer screws so I’ve got them secured that way as well. They’re bloody $$ but worth it!
Im gonna have so MUCH FUN when SUMMER COMES! St. Paul Minnesota has lots of bridges and ups and down hills and Trail Right next to the mississippi river.
I wear forma half height motorcycle boots, they help alot with limiting the vertical slip on the knee pads. Out side of that replace with stretch elastic with Velcro, that's on my plan to upgrade them. As well as infill them with more foam rubber as they are quite light on.
I learnt it for a week too, spent 1-2 hours a day and couldn't ride as good as you do! It's just a bit too heavy. I was trying grip it tight and close which definitely not helping with the balance.
Just took the EUC out on a mountain bike track, 27PSI was excellent. I was bouncing around with the pads. But overall a great experience. Should have it edited in a few days .
@@neverenoughguns1 definitely try for yourself because everyone is different, but I think those are not very good. Clark pads on the v11 are awesome but you can also make your own for cheap too . Look on Reddit for v11 pads diy or v11 pad mods . You will get some great ideas . I absolutely love my v11 , I’m still not sure what pressure I like but I suggest you google that too . I also have a king song s 18 and begode uh not the Mten next one . The v11 is just a beautiful machine with great attention to detail , enjoy and definitely wear safety gear 🤘
Local hardware store. Just generic adhesive foam, nothing special. It's very soft foam and weak, helps a bit. I hear people cut up yoga mats and double side tape.
Sorry mate you said so many things totally wrong in first few minutes i could not watch til the end... I dont recommend anyone to listen to you... And all starts with the terrible way the V11 Looks! it is not acceptable in any way for a skilled rider to get his EUC so smashed and damaged! Stop giving lessons to the others and first learn to properly ride it yourself ! If you have problems with wobbling that is your only fault not the tire or the distance or the pressure! It only the rider fault! Not worth it to get into details ! And please dont say stupid things like dont inflate the tire to 3 BARS!!! That is one of the biggest stupid things i heard! That is a sure way for destroying your rim and your tire! :))))

Great video especially on the power pads part. Thanks!!
Good idea on the adhesive foam mate. Just got my v11 and will follow your lead on the velcro. Cheers.

Thank you very much, very helpful info.
I do apologize the audio in the video is terrible but the content probably is good.
One day soon I hope to remake.
loose and agile on the machine
How did you instal the velcro
Really thinking about getting it...just not allowed in Germany...
Nice video!
Everything that is not allowed is the best to have and use.
I think those not allowed ANYWHERE... just don't go to downtown and you will be fine.
Schade es ist sehr Spaß!
I have the same knee pads but they slide around a ton. Anything you can suggest to keep them in place better? Do I just not have them tight enough?

Great run down on your experience, thanks for posting. Are you in Australian and if so where did you get your V11, did you have to wait for it.
E-riderz had in stock. 2.5 weeks shipping to Perth via road.

Where to purchase Velcro power pads. Thanks for sharing
Shops that sell EUC's will sell power pads,
Local hardware shop for velcro that's adhesive based.
Great video. I suggest you try different pads . But great video and information

Why different pads? I'm awaiting my v11 and got some pads like his too. 🤷🏻♂️
@@neverenoughguns1 I'm waiting on a friend to 3d print me the fly pads. Just installed the honey comb pedals today too.

what kind of foam did you use to protect your wheel?
or how do you call that?

@@jc84com thx for the quick answer
I can't even try to accelerate without leaning left and falling off.

how much do u weigh?

I'm 71kgs
I'm still experimenting with pressure.
I'm thinking 27 to 35psi for myself.
Depending on terrains.
