Really weird that in neither games there wasn't a new character like a soap bar for example who would help clean the bear/bird duo after one of those toxic levels. Banjo would have probably paid that character X amounts of notes. Same with Conker's Bad Fur Day - he smells like a combination of honey, blood and 💩
The deep underwater song in Clanker's Cavern is the scariest part of the game, I'm not scared of it as an adult (but it still makes me uncomfortable) but as a kid I was terrified of it. It just has that ominous feeling like the water pressure is so high that your skull is being crushed.
I was scared of Glitter Gulch Mine when I was a kid. The cowboys, the music in the caverns, Canary Mary, Bullion Bill for some reason, and especially the dark rooms.

Clanker Scares me...
Clanker scares me because of how you first approach him. Same as the first octopus you have to freeze to get by in Jolly Roger's Lagoon
