I just bought a new gaming PC and the entire world was quarantined, this is exactly how I started my morning just replace the switch with pc and that drink with a regular coffee. It doesn't feel good after 9 or 10 days you feel completely lost,

Not for me, games are fun when you want be relaxed after work.

I feel your pain, I had to be taken out of school near the end of the year due to a bad bullying situation so I had to deal with isolation after quarantine ended, it effected me worse than I thought it would. Videos games are nice but they definitely don’t keep you occupied all day, especially if your a social person.

I would advise either you move over to "Yuzu" and use a 21:9 scaling mod, or you look in your monitor for a "fit" or "centre" option because man, the stretch ruins the aesthetic for me. I apologize.

i got read of my 21:9 and went back to two 16:9 monitors. ultrawide is great when supported, But i got tired of the endless amount of things that don’t support it and get stretched or pillar boxed
I’m genuinely surprised most people don’t notice that it’s stretched.
Honestly, I have an ultrawide but I’ve switched my main monitors to 16:9’s of higher resolutions for my productivity and Adobe work…the ultrawide works best for games generally. Most of them are panels tailored for gaming.

Watching these videos makes me feel relaxed, until I realize how I’ll never be this privileged. I’ve realized here lately that in America, you need money to be happy. And the most frustrating part of all, you need money to make money. Everything revolves around money. A lot of people just tell me to suck it up and be thankful for what I have, but how can I be thankful for what I have when it’s all slipping away at a rapid pace? I’m probably gonna lose my apartment soon, then I’ll have to drop out of college. People always say, “well just ask your parents to help you.” My parents don’t want to help me. “Just stay with a friend!” As if that’s always an option for everyone. “Well at least be thankful that you woke up this morning.” As selfish as I sound feeling like this, I can’t. How can I be thankful for waking up to my life falling apart every day? I am fully aware that it could be worse but when you go from being poor to even poorer it’s hard to keep a smile on your face. I know some people are gonna view me as selfish but I’m tired of faking a smile just to please others. If I’m unhappy I should have the right to express it. When I go to sleep at night I dream of another life in which I’m wealthy, have a loving boyfriend, a nice house, nice car, etc. I even dream about being able to decorate my house with little knickknacks without thinking “well I could use that $4 to eat.” I just want to get to that status in life where I don’t have to worry about every extra quarter I spend because I might not even get to eat. I few weeks ago I cleaned my bathroom and I put a little succulent I got for free on the counter. I stare at that succulent every day because I’m so proud to have a little piece of homely decor in my apartment. None of these feelings stem from jealousy tho. When I see people like the girl in the video I genuinely feel happy for them. It’s more like I’m frustrated at the world a partly at myself. Why don’t I deserve to live a life like that? Why am I always kicked back down to where I started every time I try? What do I have to do to deserve a life like that? I guess I may never know. All I know right now is I’m exhausted and I don’t know how much more I can take.
