Fingers crossed they make the jump with a toy line, but I fear they either won’t out of fear of tarnishing the image of “Bond = Luxury” and a Luxury brand doesn’t make cheap toys. It’s the only thing I can think of. Even when the marketing machine was in full swing for Die Another Day, we never got a 3.75in scale GI Joe figs, accessories or anything. Fingers crossed with the growing popularity of smaller ReAction Figs and the very popular 1:12 scale figs we see across so many brands that James Bond can jump into that market and thrive. Especially with a full back catalog of films and characters we would all need to start shopping for a new display case as well 😂 Great video as always David
For me, I can mimic the styles and clothes. But I can't mimic the experiences. So I would want Bond in Motion near me, out West, or a gather all out here. And absolutely, the affordability for Bond items!!
Two brand new Bond books are near completion and new Bond theme! ‘LIVING PAST ANOTHER DAY ‘ and the sequel ‘ GRAVITAS ‘ set in Ukraine . Bond also plays golf with an AI female and this sets him off on an amazing adventure in CERN and then Chernobyl!!!! Keep watching for updates!!!
Mini mission with euphoric end to it, bombastic opening credits, Bond gets the main mission pamphlet, Hello Q, hello exotic location, bit of danger, car chase, something something, big explosion, sleeps with the girl, Bond theme plays, roll credits, James Bond Will Return. How's that for simplicity..
I'm 55 and I've been a Bond fan since I was a kid. Craig is my favorite Bond and he was the Bond in two of my favorite Bond movies ever. Based on all the complaining in these comments about Craig, I'm in the minority for those who watch this channel, but that's fine.
@@thegreypath1777 : Every OO7 actor was great, except Craig who turned Bond into a Woke pancake. Brosnan is indeed the very best of them all, completely agree
S.T. Dupont has done some of the things you mentioned, like the Golden Gun pen and lighter set. And the cufflinks are out there too. Magnoli Clothiers had some pretty good replicas of the clothing and accessories as well.
The biggest problem with getting the Bond films out on 4K is probably because they've worked with probably the most constantly out of money, nearly going bankrupt, going bankrupt, being sold umpteen times studio in United Artists, then MGM and then I guess now it's Amazon. The discs seem to have been released by many different studios. My two volumes of the Connery collection were released by Fox, which of course now is owned by Disney.
As far as products go I'd like to see more variety in product placement, I'm bored of Omega and Aston Martin. Id also like to see more products form secondary characters, I really love the Swatch x 007 Q watch (in fact I own one) it's really cool to be able to have something shown on the movie that directly relates to one of the characters and is unique to that character and that movie. They could do this Money Penny and M, aswell as more with Q. Perhaps a Moneypenny range of handbags or purses? Q designed multitools or flashlights?
Given Bond is a series that can go from 'Die Another Day' to 'Casino Royale' it can cover different tones and styles and at the end of the day your not going to be able to please everyone. You also have to attract a 2020's general audience [which is why I don't think they'd go back to the 'Bond formula' which has been retired for 20+ years now]. Roger Moore's films [bar 'For Your Eyes Only'] are generally far removed from the Fleming novels yet both have big fan bases.
David and Kyle, Wested Leather Co. (Of original Indiana Jones jacket fame) produce a version of the TND leather jacket. The advertised one is in black but they do screen accurate brown on request. I also really want it.
The 007 franchise has survived for more than 60 years for one reason - Don't mess with the formula. Beautiful women, cars, locations, action, guns, intrigue and a suave and stylish Bond. Mess with the formula (like they have been doing) and it'll all fall apart.
Thanks for another great video! 1) I’m hopeful for December 2025, Goldeneye’s thirteenth anniversary. Amazon might be banking on that film having more weight with the “normies,” especially the fortysomethings for whom that film was their 007 entry point as teenagers. 2) My guess is that Amazon’s analytics 📊 regarding what they can realistically sell via their website, especially via Amazon Prime, and when they can sell it will determine what types of merchandise we get and when. I can’t see Amazon buying 007 and not trying to sell plenty of 007-related products. 3) We’ll probably see more activity when the new video game releases. More people might desire 007 video games above most other merchandise. People with fond memories of the Goldeneye game as well as younger fans who’ve grown up playing more online than with physical toys might be more likely to buy new games and save their money elsewhere. 4) Lego 007 playsets and Creator kits would be pretty cool if they don’t exist already. Thanks again!
@@thetotlpkg Best just to pretend NTTD never happened. We don’t watch Bond for gritty social realism and to try to get around it would twist the franchise in knots
Speaking of toys as a kid I had some Agent Zero M stuff including a movie camera they turned into a sub machine gun! That stuff was hawked by a young Kurt Russell if I recall.
It's interesting to note that in 2012 when asked what happened to the 'old Bond formula', Daniel Craig replied 'Austin Powers F-ked us' so they couldn't use those tropes anymore as much as some fans would want there return.
4k releases of each title would be next level if they all came with original poster artwork too, rather than just a generic collection cover. And a series of character figures is way overdue, so many characters could be released in waves
Bond movies seem to suffer from "series syndrome." Movies today seem to have multiple sequels to draw the audience back to see the whole story. Bond doesn't need that. Make good movies and, trust me, we fans will come back every time.
Bond needs to go back to Rolex. In the books its a rolex, in the early films its a rolex. He wears a damn rolex! Fleming wore a Rolex. Someone pointed this out to me and i never noticed but once they moved to Omega, there are multiple shots in the film showing off the watch and it feels incredibly forced. Awful stuff.
I would like to see a 4K set with decent HDR and all with new Atmos mixes that do away with all of the added sound effects on the recent 5.1 mixes. If these were added due to issues of separating audio stems we now have AI that can do the separation, a la Peter Jackson's recent Get Back series
Yep closer to the original Bond books for me and without ANY political correctness or woke nonsense. A bloke's bloke, pretty women and an Aston (or even the Bentley). That being said I still think Casino Royale is the best bond film overall.
Absolutely not. We live in the most fascinating geopolitical times in recent history. There's an actual war in actual Europe where actual spies are doing actual spy work. If the producers can't figure out a way to make Bond relevant, then they'll just be admitting that they're out of ideas. Plus, we'd be throwing away 60+ years of Bond being set in the present, and being a snapshot of that era of filmmaking. There's so many better ideas than 'let's make Bond sad', 'let's set it in the 60's', 'let's make Blofeld his brother'.
@EthanKnight97 said it best on this comment section, but I’ll say this: I want James Bond to have fun being James Bond again. Casino Royale was the last time he did that. Stop being “influenced” by other franchises and get back to your own identity. Embrace, within reason, the fantasy element of Bond again. He needs to lighten up.
Good shout Kyle, the jacket was Angels and Bermans, now just Angels. David would the Jaws Stapler not work better as a Jaws Hole Puncher? How about a life size replica of Nick Nack in coattails that could serve as a drinks trolley? Of course, I'm throwing spaghetti at the wall at this point
I've been a fan of the series since if age of 4. My dad got me into the films, the first two I saw were For your eyes only, A view to a kill and I was hooked. To this day Roger is my favorite Bond.I will admit I wasn't a fan of some of Connery's films that often get too much praise FRWL and Thunderball as they were slow burns. I much enjoyed Timothy Dalton, Lazenby, the first two Brosnan outings. I would rather try to forget the bulk of Craig as they don't much seem like Bond films with the exception of Skyfall, his second being Casino Royale, rest of this tenure is a downer. What I would like to see, is a return to the more classic story, over the top villain, with a slight campiness and amusing double entendres or one liners and amazing practicle effects/ stunts that doesn't fully rely on explosions or CGI, and for the love of all things holy, no woke agenda like what we saw in NTTD, god that film was a floater. Pretty females equal to Bond not ditzy, but not smarter than either this isn't Marvel. Chris Hemsworth would do a good job and takes the series back to a more Moore like film experience. My top 10 Bond films. 10. Skyfall 9. The living daylights 8. Tomorrow never dies 7. Octopussy 6. Goldfinger 5. On her Majesty's secret service 4. The spy who Loved me 3. Licence to kill 2. For your eyes only 1. A view to a kill
It's hard to get a consensus as Calvin Dyson for example is one of the biggest Bond fans around but isn't keen on Henry Cavile for Bond despite him being a fan favourite and when he did a video on a 'period Bond' he said the idea didn't enthuse him. There is also people who want 'accurate Fleming adaptions' but most of Fleming has been mined already so it might feel like treading old ground [and there's the radio series for that].
Angels & Berhmans would have subcontracted the Tomorrow Never Dies PTS leather jacket to Wested Leather but Peter passed away a while ago and I don’t know the current status of the company or their designs/quality
A mysterious enemy, a covert insertion, an innocent female associate, a femme fatale, a circumstance that exposes Bond and cuts him off from his agency and its support, a partnership with an unlikely group of allies, and a final assault on the impressively unlikely enemy base. Sprinkle with gadgets to taste.
The whole scene at Blofeld’s party in NTTD. The tone was perfect - that’s what I want. Bond was cool, every character was cool. There was no cringe inducing wokisms, Bond wasn’t shown as too old or out of date. The whole thing was fun, without being campy nonsense. Do that.
I like Daniel as an actor. I like that he did most of the stunts. But when I am feeling bad after a JB movie, there is something wrong. And I felt worse and worse, after each new Bond. This did not happen with any other Bond (Connery & Co). Heed that, when people are running out of of ideas and wonder how to catch the audience, they will fall back to children and children in danger, to create tension. And exactly this is what happened with JB‘s last movie. If you doubt my words, take a serious look at the Thriller genre and what happens to many formerly successful authors…
Aaron John Taylor as Bond and Rebecca Ferguson as bond girl and Daniel Craig as Stavros Blowfeld, that's what I want.!!! Henry Cavil as 007 and Ella Louden as Bond girl alternatively is also good and still Daniel Craig as Blowfeld😜
A 4k boxset of all the movies would be great. I’d buy that in an instant. A boxset of the Fleming books with the original artwork, yes! A new movie, yes! Make Bond dangerous again, no daddy Bond. Toxic masculinity, yes 😂
When are we going to see you both in light blue terry towelling onesies like Connery's in the Miami sequence of Goldfinger? 😂 If I could find one you'd never get me out of it! 😁 (There's a website dedicated to those who dare!)
Not what that last abomination was. Fleming would have been disgusted with that …. Sugar coating is notgoing to change the fact it was a horrible movie and not even a bond film ….. that wasn’t bond
I didn't make it through. A family was a terrible idea and by the time he told Ana de Armas to turn around while he changed, I realized there wasn't a shred of Bond left in the Daniel Craig franchise.
Yeah what about a Matchbox or Hot Wheels branded James Bond Aston Martin series? I would like to see some James Bond new mission comics. That could be a fun idea 💡 inspiration for EON. Also some graphic novel adaptations of the movies featuring the actors specific to each movie in the novel. Now that would be great. David, what about some “Bond Experience” Merchandise? But not your standard channel merch store. I suggest you pick a few key items like Bond Experience sunglasses 😎 through Zenni . Or if you have some high res photos from your travels to Bond locations, put a “Bond Experience” frame on it and put it up on your channel for download.
How about a mini statuesque of Blofeld different faces of Blofeld from actors who played Blofeld. Or James Bond bookmarks? So you can put your bookmarks in your favourite Bond books. And at the top of each bookmark each one is in 3D. 😎😏 How about that David?
Completely unrealistic, but I'd like to see a series of short films (in the spirit of the traditional opening scenes of feature films) produced by indie studios, written, directed, and inspired by fans of Fleming's works. Different leading actors, continents, villains, and eras.
Octopussy has to be a top 10 Bond film Roger is at his best yeah the lion and Tarzan other than that it's Peak Bond and his second best its a great film aswell and funny

I am not sure kids would buy cheap ish model figures today because they don’t know any of these characters and haven’t seen a film at the cinema recently. Marketing comes off a film and with no film there would be reason to buy and collect toys to continue the buzz.
Especially with a full back catalog of films and characters we would all need to start shopping for a new display case as well 😂
Great video as always David
For me, I can mimic the styles and clothes. But I can't mimic the experiences. So I would want Bond in Motion near me, out West, or a gather all out here. And absolutely, the affordability for Bond items!!
Two brand new Bond books are near completion and new Bond theme!
‘LIVING PAST ANOTHER DAY ‘ and the sequel ‘ GRAVITAS ‘ set in Ukraine . Bond also plays golf with an AI female and this sets him off on an amazing adventure in CERN and then Chernobyl!!!!
Keep watching for updates!!!
Sadly EON don't give a flying F about what the fans want. RIP movie Bond.
I agree
Mini mission with euphoric end to it, bombastic opening credits, Bond gets the main mission pamphlet, Hello Q, hello exotic location, bit of danger, car chase, something something, big explosion, sleeps with the girl, Bond theme plays, roll credits, James Bond Will Return.
How's that for simplicity..
I want all the films released individually on 4K, with the original poster art on the covers.
I'm 55 and I've been a Bond fan since I was a kid. Craig is my favorite Bond and he was the Bond in two of my favorite Bond movies ever. Based on all the complaining in these comments about Craig, I'm in the minority for those who watch this channel, but that's fine.
Sean Connery Is James Bond and always was the best 007 ever.😊
Sean Connery was excellent, but Pierce Brosnan was the best James Bond.
At this point I just want a movie before 2030 😅
damn
Bit ambitious there!!
I’d just like some form of comms from EON, even just a snippet that they are working on something
The James Bond and Q Duo we all want, i want David Zaritsky as James Bond and Kyle barbeau ❤😂 #LoveYouPeople
No. We want Henry Caville as James Bond, and Ben Whisaw as Q Have Q more active, and working with James Bond more.
I also really want it.
bond on a mission and some cool stunts
No more reboot $*** - no gosh darn origin story.
Err, isn’t something of a reboot necessary, given NTTD?
@@DHTCF It would be a continuation of the Connery/Moore/Brosnan years. We could put the unpleasantness of the Craig era behind us.
I think you start and end the Bond story with Craig and the other movies are the middle.
@@djtforever1414 You may be losing perspective on the Craig era. Yes, he stained his legacy with NTTD but he revitalised the franchise.
@@thetotlpkg Best just to pretend NTTD never happened. We don’t watch Bond for gritty social realism and to try to get around it would twist the franchise in knots
Definitely a remastered and expanded release of Barry's TMWTGG!
Some Bond lego - iconic scenes, M's office, Goldfinger laser scene etc
Speaking of toys as a kid I had some Agent Zero M stuff including a movie camera they turned into a sub machine gun!
That stuff was hawked by a young Kurt Russell if I recall.
I would like to see an "origins" type story about how he was recruited and trained
It's interesting to note that in 2012 when asked what happened to the 'old Bond formula', Daniel Craig replied 'Austin Powers F-ked us' so they couldn't use those tropes anymore as much as some fans would want there return.
Wested leather co here in the UK sell the Tomorrow Never Dies jacket, original comes from Angels and Bermans
They should just start the james bond brand, open a boutique stores which would sell clothes and all the wonderful accessories you were mentioning.
Dr. No's ivory suit. 🙌🏻
And dial the score back up on the Gumbold safe-cracking scene in OHMSS, it's supposed to rise in volume to create suspense!
The reboot movies should be set in the sixties 😊
Sorry, fully disagree. The secret of success is to keep the franchise fresh and modern. The sixties happened and we have the movies already.
Interesting thought, but I don't think it's likely to happen. They would lose all the money from product placement.
@@AthelstanEnglandBond committing sexual assault isn’t a recipe for success
@EthanKnight97 said it best on this comment section, but I’ll say this:
I want James Bond to have fun being James Bond again. Casino Royale was the last time he did that. Stop being “influenced” by other franchises and get back to your own identity. Embrace, within reason, the fantasy element of Bond again. He needs to lighten up.
I agree. The franchise lost it's identity when it tried to be Bourne.
Great video
Check out Wested Leather for the Bond Jacket
Enjoyed the site
We need NECA James Bond figures. They’d be amazing sculpts and would likely sell really well. I’d pay $30 a piece for really good Bond figures
10. Skyfall
9. The living daylights
8. Tomorrow never dies
7. Octopussy
6. Goldfinger
5. On her Majesty's secret service
4. The spy who Loved me
3. Licence to kill
2. For your eyes only
1. A view to a kill
How does this series still to this very day not have a TV show if I must ask really??!!
A kick ass, entertaining, spy flick ☹️
A new bond and a new film would be great.
We want Bond not to be dead. But not sure it is that simple.
I WANT MORE DANIEL CRAIG!!!
I WANT MORE PIERCE BROSNAN!
Neither are going to happen.
Hell no! Bond is not a roid head.
A movie! News. Anything....
Very good
We want Henry Caville! And, get rid of Producer Phoebe Waller Bridge!!!
I want at least something
Im a physical media dinosaur and they need to make steelbooks for ‘Live and Let Die’ and ‘Die Another Day’ which have been excluded for some reason
Item I've always wanted and is never in stock is the Golden Gun replica.
I always thought the tomorrow never dies jacket was the Belstaff Panther jacket in brown
Henry Caville
Finally wearing the 60th anniversary 😊
I always wanted a 8 bit or 16 bit bond game made into unreal engine
Completely unrealistic, but I'd like to see a series of short films (in the spirit of the traditional opening scenes of feature films) produced by indie studios, written, directed, and inspired by fans of Fleming's works. Different leading actors, continents, villains, and eras.
I would love to have 007 speed champion lego sets
A deluxe NO TIME TO DIE URN/ Cocktail shaker.
Play-Mobil, and Lego- toys, especially yeah!:)
Octopussy has to be a top 10 Bond film Roger is at his best yeah the lion and Tarzan other than that it's Peak Bond and his second best its a great film aswell and funny
What British author Ian Fleming wrote, let's go back into Cold War period, Rolex watches, Bentley car, Vesper cocktails, Morlands cigarettes, exotic travel and Pol Roger champagne...
August 12, 2024 we'll commemorate #IanFleming who passed away 60 years ago !
I am not sure kids would buy cheap ish model figures today because they don’t know any of these characters and haven’t seen a film at the cinema recently.
Marketing comes off a film and with no film there would be reason to buy and collect toys to continue the buzz.
Expensive figurines will appeal to the existing Bond Experience clientele but then because of their cost they just become shelf dust gatherers.
Bottom line is … make a new film
Who made the cardigan used by Craig in casino royale on the balcony with Mathis ?
A white Lotus Sprit and DB5 go-carts
