The arts village has become a complete eye sore. A real shame. For anyone that saw it even 5, 10 years ago, it brings a tear to the eye how terrible it looks today. We had to use the bathrooms there on the weekend, and my partner literally vomited from the smell. Yatu Lau has given up, and though I have friends who run businesses in Pacific Harbour, I would hope that tourists visit other, more well kept parts of the country.

Agree 100%. The glory days are over for that place. Like most things, it’s been flogged to death without any decent maintenance done over the years. It’s a sad state now as a result. Hopefully with tourism rebounding they will invest in it
