The troops look well disciplined and present a excellent close order performance.
The commander told me two weeks ago, that the guard battalion's soldiers also have a great discipline while doing their infantry job. The guard battalion has to do both: protocol and infantry.
Well they are Germans after all.

Ich kannte es bis anhin nicht.
Ich hatte Tränen in meinen Augen, als das Deutsche Orchester in absoluter Perfektion unsere Schweizer Hymne gespielt hat .... feierlicher, ehrenhafter und ehrhabener durfte ich dies nur selten erleben.
... und dann im Anschluss die glorreiche Deutsche Hymne.
Ein Fest der Sinne für mein Herz.

The only other countries I could think at the top of my head who still practice the Old Prussian ways, before the arrival of a certain failed artist, are Chile, and possibly Argentina.

The Bundeswehr should use this march at a slower pace when the Kansler is inspecting the troops with foreign dignitaries... :o)

Der Bendlerblock befindet sich in Berlin und ist ein Gebäudekomplex im Ortsteil Tiergarten (Berlin Mitte). Dort ist u. A. der 2. Dienstsitz des Verteidigungsministeriums.

@@1871-b9m Funktioniert da aber auch nur aus historischen gründen, eine Deutsche monarchie müsste anders realisiert werden. Leider wird Monarchie im Schulunterricht ziemlich schlechtgeredet (Aus Gründen nehme ich an) sodass wir nie in den genuss kommen werden ein staatsoberhaupt zu haben mit dem man sich identifizieren kann.

Tavish A monarch is exactly not a representative, but a head of state by his own right. We republicans have a representative, whose rights have been vested unto him by electors, who he is representing.
