Dewatering and stumps Part 1

- The back of this site is very wet due to inadequate ditches. There is not much leeway to get the depth of the ditch because the bedrock and large stones are very close to the surface.
We deepen and clean up the old ditch and try to make the best of it based on the conditions that exist.
Two sources of incoming water onto the area gona be collected into underdrains (French drains) and the water transport across the site as well.
Where the film ends, we also take a break for a few days to allow the area a chance to dry up before proceeding with work.

What an operator I have never seen ground work done so tidiyl well done I enjoyed watching
Peter he’s great If you’ve not seen it yet They do a job on a mates house They dig all around house & put drains in and waterproof the house before filling in & landscaping I called him the Lewis Hamilton of machine drivers 👍👍
This chap takes alot of pride in his work, he's done a great job good to see this.
Anita from the U.K
You have the coolest excavator bucket And arm I’ve ever seen it’s like a brush n the landscape is your canvas awesome to watch n relax 👍🏻
Amazing......Greetings from Indiana. U.S.A.....Thank you
As a kid we would dam up the water from the gutters at school in a big pool, and then make small rivers across the neighboring forest, in order to see how far we could get it. I remember it being great fun!
Crazy skill with that machine 😁
Those stumps reminded me of getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Three came right out, but that last one had to come out in pieces.
I took some time at work last night after working on a customers tractor and did a little blading in the parking lot. I am NOT an operator but it was turning out pretty good, but I still had some piles of loose material that I couldn't figure out how to get in some low spots. There was a Bobcat there so I used that. As I was using it, I kept your videos in mind of scraping along, collecting what's on top and letting it fall into the low spots.
That area still looks like a motocross track, but I have learned a bit from you. Thank you.
Hello from Kentucky outstanding work great job very talented
BEAUTIFUL work!! Great operator!
It amazes me how common versatile machines like this are in other places. I wish our machines here in the U.S.A. had rotating buckets like this!
PNW RC it’s actually an attachment, so it’s not the bucket that rotates it’s the “thing” above it. But you could probably get it in the USA
Its called ‘rototilt’ in Norway atleast
@@kriffen1793 Thanks for the info! Now I know what to call it for future knowledge.
It’s an engcon tiltrotator, will be available in the us
Damn I could have sworn that was filmed here in Newfoundland, Canada....the ground is the SAME!! Nice job BTW...
Cheers.. :)
Really masterful handling of that excavator. I had not seen a rotating bucket with rear teeth before. Greetings from Ontario Canada.
Awesome work.please continue to upload more of these ty frm new Zealand
Enjoyed the video immensely!! Look forward to the follow up or part duex!
Big hello from OHIO,USA 😎🇺🇸
Sales of grading buckets like yours have increased in the U.K. since you started putting videos up.👍
Saknat dina uppladdningen.
Sometimes i forget that we in Sweden are very progressive in innovations. I'm surprised that people in the comments here seems to never have seen a rototilt on an excavator before. Standard equipment in Sweden for some decades.
Agreed
You are an ARTIST with that bucket
you got mad skills with that machine
I actually learned quite a lot, especially about grading and levelling, from watching your videos, and had to go outside and practise in my own NH-E70SR (without a tiltrotator, though) the other day =) But with only a couple of hundred hours behind the controls, it doesn't compare to your work, but I'm improving...
Keep the videos coming, please.
You’ll get there eventually! Practise makes perfect!
Ooooo you can take the tilt/rotator coupler off!!!!!!! Nice I always thought it would be sad to stump with one and figured for clearing/stumping not the best breakout force ect. And beating up a coupler that costs as much as a used unit!
I might try and get a steel wrist or engcon
Awesome operator... You should have tried to save in those little pine trees😬
Oh man. Only one word: magical👍🏻
Hilsener/greetings Norway
Du Liebst deine Arbeit ,Super Job .
Excellent, really enjoyed the video.
Greetings from Missouri, USA 😁
Great Work 👌👌👌
Good Work & Job! Like from Russia!
An expert on the excavator :-)
What language?
Dewatering. Is that a new word for digging a ditch to drain the land? Nice landscaping.
You are very skilled at operating that machine,
Freaking phenomenal job
Always enjoy a good excavator video!
Again Great Work!
Nice one hedblom.
Why can’t all operators be like you , drives me crazy having to tidy up behind people who just dump spoil everywhere
Same here, so much extra work when there is a shitty operator. You should earn the job, not just get it by saying "I wanne be an operator"
Greetings from belgium
great job!
Good job
Nice video :)
That attachment that swivels and turns the bucket is neat so is them little grabber claws on the back there's no way in hell I'd ever figure out how to run all that myself lol
Mr operator skill work for you is good god bless
this guy LetsDig's brother or cousin they both good operators A+++++++++
Den ser mycket fint!!! Bra job!
Have a good weekend
Enjoyed watching you operate. Have you seen MrAJWorks channel? Those pincers on the back of the head are the neatest tool to have.
Since I turned my Sister onto Your channel ... the evening sale of Jameson has increased 12% in the Toledo, OH area.
Interesting comment! Greetings from the Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, NRW area.
@@synceware1453 I was wondering where You were located. I presumed Austria, but Norway is just as beautiful, maybe more so. I only wish there was someone in America with your artistry. To say You operate equipment is like saying Da Vinci was a house painter. My Sister and I wish You every success in Your work.
@@richardgreen7811 hi Richard. There seems to be confusion on many levels: Firstly I am not the guy in the excavator, just a random commentator. Secondly, regarding my location, I was teasing you a bit because of the very American way with which you presume everyone in the world understands what Toledo, OH means. I'm actually from Germany where NRW is the state of North-Rhine-Westphalia.
Hedblom, the operator of the excavator, is, as far as I know, located just south of Stockholm, Sweden. Have a nice day!
@@synceware1453 I love it ... a good spoof is what this really stupid world needs right now. An excavator is something we can all believe in ... Coronavirus ... not so much. Our excavator operator will, of course, read my comments, and respond. It is such a treat to watch him take such pain and care in his work. Something devoid in America today.
@@synceware1453 Found it ... 1.47 Kilometers SW of Oberdorst. Looks very pleasant, but I don't see a liquor store where I can get my Grey Goose for martinis.
This is what I was doing in my mind as a kid when I would drain the water out of our muddy driveway with a garden hoe in the spring, lol. Anyway, great video. Looking forward to part two.
Thanks for using my song! Cool video!!
Thank you for letting us use your music in our videos 👊

Agree with others Great skills with this versatile m/c & it’s attachments 👏👏
mycket bra igen!!!
Bravo!
nice work but damn that's some soggy ground!
Perfecto!☺👍
bravo tata
Excellent job by ripping roots out of ground and cover hole also other type of earthwork!🇦🇺😉🙂👍
Love your channel. Good music most of time, too. Question. I don’t understand the reflective clothing. I never see that here in the States except on highway workers. Europeans often wear it. What’s up with that? Curious.
Thanks :)
In many workplaces, this is a requirement here. We use it to see each other better. When you work so close and around the machines, it's nice for everyone involved with hi vis clothes.
@@HedblomSwe I’ve been around machines for 30 years. We don’t have that rule, but I see how it is a good one. You’re an artist with that machine, btw.
Great!
Nice video, tks
I like how u tell people to mute youtube if they don't like the music because alot of them are handicapped when it comes to that and complain about music selection
Moot point, we like to hear the rigs running. Mute it, nope, I just wont subscribe.
very good
I love your video and the music to melt my heart, only one question for you is Sweden women are charm and loveable?
What is the maintenance like on one of these tilt rotator set ups? How often do you grease, replace bushings, pins , and hoses ? Any other special considerations?
Dominus Terræ Cælatoris - in latin that means Master Earth Sculptor, and that's what I would call these operators.
Oui. Tu sais travailler, bravo! 😁
Thank you.
What is the brand of the quick attach/rotator bucket. To the person who commented about the word, "dewatering". Your comment is silly. Just because drainage is correct to you doesn't mean squat in other parts of the world. Stop judging for people being different.
That is an Engcon.
@@burkhardt7372 You are what your name says you are.
Hallo... FROM INDONESIA
Great video (with mute on), but I have one question: Why didn't you lay plastic drain in the ditch ans cover it up? The land would be more usable without those ditches, and still drain the excess water. ... I ask questions to learn, not to criticize. Thank You.
Read the description and wait for part 2😊
Nice. You could do surgery with that thing? Or cam decorating. Well done !
It looks like they have a few artesian wells on that property...
Magnus, what is the manufacturer of the Roto-tilt that you're using? Buckets and implements. What sizes and makes of excavators do you run?
It's a Engcon. Select your prefered language at this site:
engcon.com/
Wow!💪
Any plans for the ec oil on that so you don’t have to get out and unhook hoses
Any time he wants to take off the tilt-rotator attachment he will have to uncouple the hydraulics lines. Getting an automagic disconnect for them is unlikely I would think, cost and even more delicate bits to maintain.
Jaqui Greenlees maybe not in his budget but they do have them
@@jaquigreenlees Engcon makes it where the hydraulics of the rotator can be supplied by an EC-Oil quick connect. They also use the Oil-Quick a lot to swap hydraulic attachments without getting out of the cab.
That soil is way to rich might want to put some French drains in to help out...just a thought man
Muito bom 🇧🇷
👌
Tell me the machine name
Makina kaç ton?
👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
I bet you could put frosting on a cake with that thing.
this guy fucking loves what he is doing
Cool🗾🌌🌊🌋🌎🌏🌍🌆
Anyone else think of a GIANT scorpion tail digging out stumps?
the ground is very similar to an irish peat bog.....
