- Logitech G29 and Sidepanel on PS4 ? - Farming Simulator 22
Testing the Logitech G29 Steering Wheel together with the Sidepanel on FS22 today on PS4.
I got some questions and feedback from last video that I should test it with a steering wheel, and also not to Remote play on PS4..
I have to excuse the set up, but its just the way it is.:)

I have a steering wheel on ps5 and when i go into the game the gas pedal and some buttons on the steering wheel works

Doing the same thing you have done, but it doesn’t recognise the wheel and just looks constantly to the left
Try disconnect and re connect the wheel.

Same thing here with me can't have controller and wheel plugged in together game starts acting crazy and nothing you can do. Anyone knows what's up with this problem?

Does anybody know how to keep your wireless controller active (for right stick function) after you've plugged your wheel in? I cannot have both my wheel setup and a wireless controller connected at the same time - activating one always turns the other off.
I dont have that specific problem.Have you tried to re-connect the controller after game start up(if your doing bluetooth)

I have the original saitek wheel and panel which works together on fs19 but not fs22 it seems to cut the functions in half when plugged together

@jelsa farmer , you have the original Saitek wheel right? could you test them together with the side panel?
Hi Keith.. hmm thats strange.. I dont have the Saitek Wheel anymore.. I sold it when I got the G29.

its a problem from sony. it doesnt work with the saitek. only with the g29 and the rwa steering wheel
I wish the side panel worked on ps5. I have the thrustmaster t80 and it works jus fine on my PS5 version of fs22. I jus hate having to use my controller to walk around.
Me too buddy:).. I know that if you have the PS5, and download fs22 ( PS4 version) then Sidepanel will work... ( I`ve heard people said, I havent tried it myself)

i have the logitech g29 with the logitech sidepanel and i tryed pluging in to the ps4 and the sidepanel works fine but the wheel and padels dont do crap.
Hmm thats seems strange.. I dont know how to help, sorry. it worked fine here.
@@JelsaFarmer it turns out i needed to turn the controler off because i think it was getting in the way of the wheel working. sorry if i sounded pissed off.

Hi, thats sounds strange. I aslo had a little bit creeping to the left. I did the old school fix.. : turned of the game and PC, unplugged G29 and sidepanel.. took a 27 second pee brake, then plugged in the wheel and sidepanel, and then turned on my PC and game.. worked fine after that

It works fine for me.. But I have had some comments here on some who cannot get it to work.. usually Unplug and re connect the sidepanel usually works

Hi, yes thats correct. The Sidepanel will Not work on PS5 on FS22...The problem lays with Sony, who will not allow Third party implements connected to it.

Could be just an unplug - re connect Sidepanel issue.. I know others have had that porblem

Hi K.V.. No it does not work yet for PS5. its not the game or Giants fault.. Its Sony who does not allow these third party implement to connect to the PS5.. hopefully soon they will change this
@@JelsaFarmer I couldn't resist and bought a heavy equipment controller... along with a new personal computer. oh god, it's a great combination of g29, heavy equipment controller and good PC.
I read that people have been able to connect the controller to the ps5 through the front port along with the steering wheel using a usb hub. of course they used the ps4 version of the game.

It'll work on the PS5 if you use the PS4 version of the game. Least that's what I read on some forums awhile back but I like the slot space on the PS5 version

Ratt og pedaler funker fint, men bare noen få knapper på sidepanelet. Men tar jeg ut rattet å kobler bare side panelet i ps4 så funker alt på sidepanelet🤷♂️ har du noen tips?
Hei, det hørtes litt merkelig ut.Har du prøvd å kun ha rattet tilkoblet, og starte spillet. Og så når du er inne i spillet, Så kobler du Sidepanelet til?.
Ja, prøvde det og. Hvis kunn ratt med pedaler er tilkoblet fungerer det 100%, så fort jeg kobler til sidepanelet slutter enkelte funksjoner på rattet å fungere, så fungerer noen få knapper på sidepanelet. Kobler jeg ut rattet og kobler til kunn sidepanelet fungere alt på sidepanelet. Har prøvd å bruke begge usb portene, har også prøvd å bruke en usb-splitter for å få alt på en usb port.

Hi, ohh really? I do not use the wheel so much these days. Have you tried to unolug, and plug it in again. Could be that G29 needs to recognize the new savegame?

Hmm sounds strange... Do you play on PS4 ? maybe try to plug in the sidepanel after the game has loaded in.

Hmm good question, I dont know actually.. havent tested it with PS5, and the PS4 game edition.
I had read awhile back that it'll work on the PS4 version even if you're on 5 but I like the slot space on the PS5.

You can as I have been informed Play the PS4 version of the game on the ps5 and use the sidepanel.. But its not working on the PS5 version of the game

Hi, not with playing the PS5 version of the game FS22. However I have heard that the sidepanel is working if you play the PS4 version of the game on your PS5, BUT I have not tested that.
