Ochkan reminds me of Hitler and his genocide and racial purity obsession. Although this is still in speculation, he was in fact part Jew and African descent in his genes based on DNA analysis done by Belgian researchers (may yet need to be peer reviewed), the races he despised most.
I'm surprised to see other people made that connection. I wished to integrate it in my video but it felt like a bit of a uh... touchy? risky? subject, so I left it aside, on top of the research not having been set in stone. There is a clear similarity, be it a coincidence or not, behind the two leaders of a flourishing nation who despise a race they wish to eradicate for "the greater good" (a race which they are also part of) through actions and sacrifices that the citizens are unable to comprehend, and both of their lives ending in a similar way, taking themselves out, although the reasons are unarguably different
I thought it was xiuhcoatl’s (pyro sovereign) eye that formed the golden entreaty. Also Xbalanque was a regular human who managed to beat the pyro sovereign which waxla ubah khan ( dragon sage) wanted his son, Ochkan to beat. Great vid and narrative but i think a few details arent quite right. Loved the way you made the vid tho
What we know of the Golden Entreaties was that they were a result from the authority of a "silver dragon", the Golden Entreaties themselves are proof of one of their eyes separating, fortifying that pact of Huitzilopochtli like a contract and a key at the same time, though in all honesty it's kinda obscure and that's well intended. In his history Xbalanque is part of the first humans that the Dragon Sage discovered and granted that peculiar evolution path, the distinction is that we know this human was the first to ascend to Celestia and led Natlan to glory, Xbalanque's name is not mentioned but at that point in time it could have only been him. The Dragon Sage wanted Xbalanque to succeed to Xiuhcoatl, and Xbalanque didn't honor that promise (if he even made it) and instead of becoming a Sovereign, he became an Archon. That's when the Dragon Sage turns to his descendant, Och-Kan, which he naturally sees as his son as the Sage gave birth to this very specific race, otherwise it would be hard to explain why he would call Och-Kan his son while still confirming that Xbalanque is also his son in the same dialogue. Thanks a lot for your attention though, love to discuss stuff, and really glad you appreciate the way I told the story!
@ Dragon sage refers to Ochkan as him son because that is really his son. He created Ochkan from human flesh and himself because he lost faith in dragon kind due to their decline as a result of the war with the primordial one. He saw humanity and saw potential therefore he created a human and dragon soul mix which bore the flamelord’s blessing. With this he wanted ochkan to kill the weakened and corrupted Xiuhcoatl in order to take the dragon authority from him and thus start a new golden age of brilliance like the dragons had. Ochkan was supposed to be the supreme ruler of the fallen dragons and humanity. The problem was that Xbalanque interfered with this plan. The dragon sage says in the quest that Xbalanque’s presence was not part of his plan. Xbalanque was not supposed to kill Xiuhcoatl bcz he was a mere human. Xbalanque simply wished for all to live in harmony. Seeing this, the dragon sage immediately switches the focus of his plan from his son to Xbalanque. They split the dead pyro sovereign’s eye in half (the pyro soverign’s eye held a sort of absolute authority which im assuming is huitzilopochtli). Both of them held one part of the eye and the plan was to use the completed eye to activate huitzilopochtli. I also love having these discussions!
@@DeedoubledOh absolutely, there's no debate on the fact that Och-Kan is his son that's what I meant. In the narrative given, Och-Kan is the son of the Sage, and in the patch 5.0 we could find scriptures mentioning "the first human" (but not those of the first civilization) being found by the Dragon Sage and evolved. This human came to unite Natlan, having both Dragons and Humans bow to him, as he ascended to Celestia and saw the heavens for himself, being then led to a fated battle against Xiuhcoatl who back then was not confirmed to be a Sovereign, not sure if it's that silver dragon as well as I avoid leaks. Here lies the confusing parts that are conflicting: Xbalanque diverted from that path the Sage desired, and so it fell onto Och-Kan to, much later (he was already making observations of the Pyro Sovereign and vishaps of from a time prior to his) oblige this plan (the Sage directly says that, as you say), but in opposition he instead sends it into the skies with the Tonatiuh, where we can see scriptures of Och-Kan mourning the events (they are written in the exact same way as he wrote his Holy Sovereign notes) with Phlogiston Encryptions, that he and Xbalanque are able to use, appearing as who appears to be the latter reacting or commenting to his descendant's writings, calling Och-Kan "heir" and the witnessing of the true stars, which Och-Kan did not see and only Xbalanque did. We see that somehow, Xbalanque's being is still lingering today, perhaps through the Sacred Flame as he did once. The Sage seems to be unable to use the Entreaties by himself, as even in the quest it says "it should not be touched", and needs a human or half human to operate Huitzilopochtli, which as you say must be a result of Xiuhcoatl, again perhaps the silver dragon in question, as this device is said to turn the land into a scorched earth, were it to be activated, to reset civilizations. It's interesting to discuss about because there is A LOT of crossfire between Xbalanque, Och-Kan and the Dragon Sage. One other interesting note is back in 5.0, the Sage of the Stolen flame was already being suspected of being a dragon and so was Xbalanque, but it was referred to as nonsense for the both of them as a dragon wouldn't go after their own kin and the other was the Archon who united humanity. Ironic, after all
@SerAoth OK, I see where the confusion is. 1stly, the phlogiston encryption is made by the dragon sage in response to whatever ochkan wrote, not Xbalanque. Therefore, seeing the true stars would be in reference to the dragon sage. Secondly, the silver dragon in the mural is the pyro sovereign, the colour from the mural has just degraded over time because ochkan used his mural to cover it up (you can see at the corners of the image that the colour is still there) alternatively you could be talking about ixel (the dragon trapped under ground) in which case they are dead. 3rd yes the entreaties are the split eye of xiuhcoatl (the eye that holds his authority) and as I said earlier, the dragons lost their purity/ nobility, so ultimately the authority of the dragon sovereign will no longer reside Purely in them; that I'd why they need a dragon with the flamelords blessing (potential to become the dragon sovereign) and a human soul to activate that authority. This is what Ockan was created for as we know
@@Deedoubled Interesting, it makes sense that the Sage would be able to use the encryptions as he brought Phlogiston to the land. I completely missed that option, I even went as far as thinking it was BONA out of anyone with Och-Kan responding to the encryptions, but it did not make sense with his witnessing of the stars and the mention of "heir", on top of the writing style. That checks out honestly. Regarding the silver dragon, I indeed concluded that it was the Dragonlord that Och-Kan subjugated for the Core of Chu'ulel, as there was no evidence of who that dragon truly was, and only this interaction seemed major enough to be recorded and related to him. I did not consider Xiuhcoatl for this, as it isn't made clear why he (she?) would be that silver dragon, other than the mention of an authority, which few Dragonlords, who are below Sovereigns, also came to possess. But it did not make sense that a Dragonlord would hold the power of a device such a Huitzilipochtli, so I did not make any claims on that. Finally, it seems that regarding the Entreaties I missed out on adding a note to the video where I said that I was unsure who the Flamelord is (it identifies to Xbalanque as well, as the wielder of Pyro before even being the Pyro Archon), and not having found anything on Xiuhcoatl known, I settled for Xbalanque, as his achievements justify that title. The only hint is that Xiuhcoatl perished in the volcano, and that the Saurian must go to the that same Volcano to cleanse the Flamelord's blessing. Maybe I should start using the wiki to get all the infos right instead of trying to be stubborn to come up with my own conclusions lol

Appreciate your sub! I initially started this channel wishing to explore and tell of the the non-mainstream story and go really in depth with it. Even today there are A LOT of various topics that date as far back as 2020-2021 that are largely unknown. I'm glad it meets its audience of curious players like you, you can expect more!
Silly example: Take the classification of cauliflower and broccoli. They're both part of the same species but are very different once you observe them. Though don't take my comment in the video too seriously, I'm simply amused by the endless online debates of what's a dragon and what's not (thanks GoT), otherwise it would be like saying everything in Genshin that is not four legged and winged is not a dragon, which would be a hella mid take, when wyverns belong to the mythical dragon species like wyrms and basilisks even
I'd like to ask for your source on this confirmation, during the cutscene (and I've expressed my surprise at it in my other video) it was clear to me that she punched through the false sky INTO that globe which was shattered in turn. If there is a statement about its state, I haven't found it
@@SerAoth First, it is a very good lore video. About that, Mavuika talks about this at the end of the archon quest in version 5.1. She said: "I think there is a lot of investigating to be done to unsderstand what the fragments behind the sky are, and why they were hidden in the firs place." What they don't know yet is what the fragments are, but they were already there, she simply exploded the visual barrier called the false sky.
@@jpsarnoI'm not quite seeing how that confirms that they were already there. (as in shattered) As the planet/moon is destroyed by her blow, it would also be left as fragments, and she'd refer to it the same way, as this was beyond the fake sky regardless. I see your angle, though, thanks for the appreciation!
