6:38 The breakable floor panels are above you, before you jump down to the secret. You can jump up to the upper platform there, and voila, there are said floor panels. That is supposed to be the "normal" way to obtain the secret :)

8:24 Funnily enough that trophy reminded me of how when I was a child, I always finished the Tibetan Foothills without the snow mobile because I thought it was too difficult to navigate, so this trophy was easy peasy for me, lol. Though, now that I use the vehicle, it does make the level not only easier but significantly shorter.
Haha, that's so cool, so at least you had the experience to know what to do. I thought it was rather difficult to get used to not using the vehicle, especially for some specific parts of the level.
20:34 I had this moment when I finished TR3 with "only" 95 crystals. I knew EXACTLY which one I missed and the whole game I was hoping it doesn't count. It was the 7th crystal in River Ganges. It IS possible to get it, I just didn't know at the time. And it's rather hard. I couldn't be bothered to do the whole game again, though. Luckily, after the first patch I reloaded Meteorite Cavern and the trophy popped up. Good on you you persevered. :D
I also finished the game with 95 crystals, and i think that is all on the main story. 2 levels have separate path, i guess that's why the achievement is for 93 crystals. Using the kayak glitch going back to the start, was the hardest
@@AdamDawson3 True and I was counting on that, but at that time you couldn't open All Hallows (reliably anyway). It was another bug. Tried it several times. After Patch 1 it works just as intended.

Holy hell, so many of those trophies sound like a nightmare for someone like me to get, but I think that Let's Dance trophy is one of the worst. I find it so stressful and tense playing Home Sweet Home *normally*, let alone getting every enemy killed in the ballroom! Kudos to you for managing that, and all the other insane trophies too!
Wow this so funny, Last night I got all the trophies in Tomb Raider 1 and I was devastated when my Platinum trophy never popped up for some reason. My soul is crushed. Well, onto TR2
I worry, it might be a PS5 issue. Which is odd, cause I’m pretty sure Ax here is doing it on PS5 based on the format of how the trophies are popping up.
I would guess that ax is playing the ps4 version on a ps5. The ps5 versions don’t have the platinum trophy’s due to a Sony policy that won’t allow platinums for multiple games that run off a single launcher. This policy does not affect ps4 versions though. Personally I just still played the ps5 version but obviously not going for a plat because I would basically have to redo everything on the ps4 version
Yeah, it sucks 😕 I'm playing the PS4 versions on PS5. Only the PS4 versions have Platinum trophies, because of a silly policy on PS5 games not being allowed to her multiple Platinum trophies from one launcher, or something. Thankfully, the PS4 versions don't seem to be inferior in any way.

The 5 times on fire dragon trophy also pops if you just sit in the water and let him try to burn you The music room achievement works as long as the stereo is on, it doesn't matter if the music is actually playing or not

Awesome vid and great job on the platinum! To save a little bit of blood pressure for anyone else wanting to go for platinum (and I do mean 'a little' as NG+ is haaaaaaaaaaaard!), the flamethrower achievement tracks so you can save before being ignited and dousing yourself, then reload, and the counter will still go up. You can't savescum the ballroom trophy, but you don't need to worry if the music stops playing. As long as you have pressed the button before killing the first enemy then you're good. Looking forward to seeing your TR3 platinum!

I could feel your pain when you made that mistake regarding the guns on the snowmobile during your No Pistols run on NG+. But I'm very happy that you had a save file right before the level and didn't have to start over from the beginning! There are so many trophies in this game that seem very tedious at best, to torturous at worst, in a game that's already very difficult on its own. The one where Lara has to catch on fire a number of times made me want to cry just looking at it. I'm glad that you were able to get all the trophies without the game glitching out on you!! Congrats on the platinum trophy, you've earned it and then some :D Looking forward to your TR3 run! It's my favorite game in the trilogy, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you tackle it (and also seeing what sort of bullshit trophies that game has in store for you). Exactly, very well said! These games are SO hard already, so all this NG+ BS, and speedrunning and no Medi Packs and what not, just made everything so much more miserable 😅 I like how some trophies make you do things in an easier way (shortcuts and stuff), but the vast majority of them don't. I also did the mistake of doing pistols only and new game+ in TR1, for TR2 and 3, my strategy was the same . First run for pistols only + all secrets + all items + all other achievements with a save on every level in case I missed an achievement and needed replaying a section (or if some of them were mutually exclusive), and then second run with NG+ with speedrun only. That made the game much more fun to play, TR2 NG+ made me go for 15 secrets just to get the medipacks, and I used most of them.
Kudos for you for playing that for recording also. 🎉 when I say that platinum on tr remastered is hard that’s what I mean. Your work should be appreciated. I will pray for your mental state at the end of those new game + things

Ayyy, finally it's out! TR2 was my first, never go far and it was bit too difficult for me, but still the first. When I was playing the remastered, I was doing the jumping between boats before mines trophy, I completely missed the boat and the first one didn't even hit the mines, but I still got the trophy for some reason lol.
Well done! Some of these sound absolutely insane 😅 considering the amount of gun wielding enemies that are in this game I don’t think I’d have the patience to do a pistol only run
because, they altered the pickups number. in Nevada they increased the number of pickups. so u can't do that also. we have 2 separate paths in some levels. but yet I wanted to have that trophy. because with some TRICKS u can take both paths in these levels like gang river and Pacific Island village

I stupidly tried to obtain the "Cooler than moonraker" trophy in the most badass way I could imagine : during the countdow at the end of the level. Turn out it's already hard enough without a timer and a brake turn just before the final line. 30 tries !
I thought there was a no medipack trophy in TR II just as in TR I so I completed the first run without any medipacks. It's brutal. The drop in The Deck, the annoying enemy placement in Floating Islands, and the barrage of enemies in Dragon's Lair were especially frustrating. Just like you, I was baffled when the "Very Hard Boiled" trophy did not pop up for exactly the same reason! Damn those snowmobiles!
11:26 I find it easiest to kill the spider if you jump to the platform, then immediately jump back to where you jumped from. It stays on the platform and you can shoot it from there.
Y’know I actually skipped most of Barkhang Monastery by using a glitch to get the ends justify the means trophy and in new game plus. Basically if you get the first prayer wheel, and place it in the receptacle and go to the other receptacles and open your inventory the seraph glitches and acts like prayer wheel. So that definitely helped. And made the level a lot easier.
Will you also do the expansions for each game? I’m currently doing everything on Steam so I have to do it all. Doing TR1 now and my first ever play through, no medpack, pistols only and collect everything. It’s challenging, but I’ve managed to do it without a guide so far, which is cool and shows it’s a fair challenge. The worst part is absolutely Atlantis so far. No healing killing with pistols the Atlantean guardians sucks. At least until you realize you can run them in circles with modern controls. Fantastic ambience and game.
Oh yeah, Atlantis with no Medi-Packs is brutal! The worst thing about those Atlanteans is how frenetic their attacks are. It's really, really difficult to guard yourself from them, especially in a level like Atlantis, where you always have to fight them in rooms that are either claustrophobic, or where you can easily fall down. Well done though!
@@AxManiawill you do any videos on the extra levels or was it just about the platinums? I just started TR2 now and i’m in the living quarters. It feels much easier for now, i’m not sure why. I’m loving it barring the fact that you kill too many human enemies, I miss the original’s ambience and creatures a bit. But my isn’t it a gorgeous game. You probably know by now, but the pollen trophy pops at the end of the level! It wasn’t a bug.
I finally got all the trophies in TR1 and TR2, too🥳 I must say you made it incredibly hard and brutal for yourself - you really love to torture yourself, don't you? 😂 I had the most trouble getting the "Silk Cave" trophy, because I didn't realise you mustn't be bitten by ANY spider in the level and kill all of them, too. The funniest moment was when I got the "Ready to Ride" trophy in 1:19.9😂 Overall it was exciting and I am looking forward to getting TR3 trophies, although as I looked at them, they seem brutal (I've already got a few basic ones in my fist playthrough, so now I'll get the more obscure ones, I hope😅)

I guess I got lucky then, because I was far less careful about all the other spiders. I've done Tomb Raider III, and it definitely had the hardest New Game+ mode, so you are hereby warned 😅 Good luck though, and enjoy!
@@AxMania yeah, I was attacked and bitten by spider in the alcove above the lava pit and the silver dragon, then went through the cave without a scratch and didn't got the trophy. I did a little research and apparently the trophy description is a bit misleading - it's hard to say if it's a bug or an intention - but it seems all spider damage gotten in the level counts against you 😭
It's definitely the easiest in terms of how you can save whenever you want to, but I'd actually say it might be the hardest in terms of combat 😫 Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Nice work bro 👍. Good luck with TR3 you will need it trust me. TR3's NG+ is more brutal than 2's. I tried playing pistols only on NG+ in 3. I could't do it . I stuck at puna it takes forever to kill him with pistols and then these stupid green lizard things spawn left and right who poison you and I had only one save crystal to heal and save my game.

Awesome vid and great job on the platinum! To save a little bit of blood pressure for anyone else wanting to go for platinum (and I do mean 'a little' as NG+ is haaaaaaaaaaaard!), the flamethrower achievement tracks so you can save before being ignited and dousing yourself, then reload, and the counter will still go up. You can't savescum the ballroom trophy, but you don't need to worry if the music stops playing. As long as you have pressed the button before killing the first enemy then you're good. Looking forward to seeing your TR3 platinum!

I could feel your pain when you made that mistake regarding the guns on the snowmobile during your No Pistols run on NG+. But I'm very happy that you had a save file right before the level and didn't have to start over from the beginning! There are so many trophies in this game that seem very tedious at best, to torturous at worst, in a game that's already very difficult on its own. The one where Lara has to catch on fire a number of times made me want to cry just looking at it. I'm glad that you were able to get all the trophies without the game glitching out on you!! Congrats on the platinum trophy, you've earned it and then some :D

Exactly, very well said! These games are SO hard already, so all this NG+ BS, and speedrunning and no Medi Packs and what not, just made everything so much more miserable 😅 I like how some trophies make you do things in an easier way (shortcuts and stuff), but the vast majority of them don't.

Yeah, apparently so, but I've always collected that secret like I do in the video 😅
I also did the mistake of doing pistols only and new game+ in TR1, for TR2 and 3, my strategy was the same . First run for pistols only + all secrets + all items + all other achievements with a save on every level in case I missed an achievement and needed replaying a section (or if some of them were mutually exclusive), and then second run with NG+ with speedrun only. That made the game much more fun to play, TR2 NG+ made me go for 15 secrets just to get the medipacks, and I used most of them.
Yes, this is without question how I should have done it as well. It would've spared me so much frustration! 😅

Honestly, that is the safer way to do it. The delayed mod-air grab is surprisingly tricky to pull off.

11:21 Here you can do a trick: when you reach the platform where the final spider spawns, jump directly backwards to the previous platform. From there you can kill the spider easily from a distance 🕷🔫

Ayyy, finally it's out! TR2 was my first, never go far and it was bit too difficult for me, but still the first.
When I was playing the remastered, I was doing the jumping between boats before mines trophy, I completely missed the boat and the first one didn't even hit the mines, but I still got the trophy for some reason lol.

Relating to the "No Unnescessary Moves" Trophy, the conventional way to get the gold dragon is jumping and climbing up where there is a flaw panel.
Apparently so, I have always gotten it the way I do in the video though 😅

I loved all the trophies in TR2 besides... Like TR1... Collecting all items in a single playthrough. Thankfully TR3 doesn't have such a trophy.
because, they altered the pickups number. in Nevada they increased the number of pickups. so u can't do that
also. we have 2 separate paths in some levels. but yet I wanted to have that trophy. because with some TRICKS u can take both paths in these levels like gang river and Pacific Island village
@@vanillaggl You can also get 9 Crystals in Madubu Gorge using a Kayak glitch but if you do the level getting all Secrets you only need 8 Crystals.

I stupidly tried to obtain the "Cooler than moonraker" trophy in the most badass way I could imagine : during the countdow at the end of the level. Turn out it's already hard enough without a timer and a brake turn just before the final line. 30 tries !
Yes! That brake turn before the gate is really difficult! I will try and do this in the PS5 version, when I get to play it 😃

I thought there was a no medipack trophy in TR II just as in TR I so I completed the first run without any medipacks. It's brutal. The drop in The Deck, the annoying enemy placement in Floating Islands, and the barrage of enemies in Dragon's Lair were especially frustrating. Just like you, I was baffled when the "Very Hard Boiled" trophy did not pop up for exactly the same reason! Damn those snowmobiles!

Y’know I actually skipped most of Barkhang Monastery by using a glitch to get the ends justify the means trophy and in new game plus.
Basically if you get the first prayer wheel, and place it in the receptacle and go to the other receptacles and open your inventory the seraph glitches and acts like prayer wheel. So that definitely helped. And made the level a lot easier.

Will you also do the expansions for each game? I’m currently doing everything on Steam so I have to do it all. Doing TR1 now and my first ever play through, no medpack, pistols only and collect everything. It’s challenging, but I’ve managed to do it without a guide so far, which is cool and shows it’s a fair challenge. The worst part is absolutely Atlantis so far. No healing killing with pistols the Atlantean guardians sucks. At least until you realize you can run them in circles with modern controls. Fantastic ambience and game.
Oh yeah, Atlantis with no Medi-Packs is brutal! The worst thing about those Atlanteans is how frenetic their attacks are. It's really, really difficult to guard yourself from them, especially in a level like Atlantis, where you always have to fight them in rooms that are either claustrophobic, or where you can easily fall down. Well done though!
@@AxManiawill you do any videos on the extra levels or was it just about the platinums? I just started TR2 now and i’m in the living quarters. It feels much easier for now, i’m not sure why. I’m loving it barring the fact that you kill too many human enemies, I miss the original’s ambience and creatures a bit. But my isn’t it a gorgeous game.

I finally got all the trophies in TR1 and TR2, too🥳 I must say you made it incredibly hard and brutal for yourself - you really love to torture yourself, don't you? 😂
I had the most trouble getting the "Silk Cave" trophy, because I didn't realise you mustn't be bitten by ANY spider in the level and kill all of them, too. The funniest moment was when I got the "Ready to Ride" trophy in 1:19.9😂
Overall it was exciting and I am looking forward to getting TR3 trophies, although as I looked at them, they seem brutal (I've already got a few basic ones in my fist playthrough, so now I'll get the more obscure ones, I hope😅)
Congratulations!!! 🥳 Whoa, really!? Do you need to avoid spiders in the entire level? I'm pretty sure the trophy only states in the cave. I guess I got lucky then, because I was far less careful about all the other spiders.

@@AxMania yeah, I was attacked and bitten by spider in the alcove above the lava pit and the silver dragon, then went through the cave without a scratch and didn't got the trophy. I did a little research and apparently the trophy description is a bit misleading - it's hard to say if it's a bug or an intention - but it seems all spider damage gotten in the level counts against you 😭

Nice work bro 👍. Good luck with TR3 you will need it trust me. TR3's NG+ is more brutal than 2's. I tried playing pistols only on NG+ in 3. I could't do it . I stuck at puna it takes forever to kill him with pistols and then these stupid green lizard things spawn left and right who poison you and I had only one save crystal to heal and save my game.
