Footballer compares InternalBrace ACL Repair with ACL reconstruction

Goalkeeper Lauren Perry, Montrose FC and Northern Ireland FC has been unfortunate enough to rupture her ACL in both knees. The first time she had InternalBrace Repair surgery with Professor Gordon Mackay. When she injured her other knee she had a traditional ACL Reconstruction. She talks us through her recovery experience after each surgery and explains why she found her InternalBrace Repair recovery easier and faster.
We filmed Lauren as part of our longer film looking at ACL injuries in women's football when we spoke to other players such as Rachel Corsie about their own ACL injury journeys.

Lauren also participated in a biomechanics study run by Dr William Wilson, who assessed the clinical and biomechanical outcomes of patients recovering from ACL InternalBrace Repair for his Ph.D. We filmed Lauren during an assessment day and discussed the study's findings.
