It doesn't need to be shook whilst the inhaler is in the spacer, it can be done before. And you don't remove it from your mouth once you've inhaled that first breath because you should be taking in more than one breath before you remove the spacer from your mouth.
Why does no one ever explain how to use this when one is gasping for breath? In my case that is when I need it most. To say "hold your breath for 10 seconds" is quite impossible when gasping.😷 All videos I have seen are of people very calmly using the inhaler, why not show someone who is genuinely struggling to breath? It would be far more useful.
