Quick question, if I have 1PB of data in OnPrem and I want to move all 1 PB to GCP using Transfer Appliance (TA) v4.0 then would I order 4 TA300 or 3 TA300 and 3 TA40 . Is my understanding correct

Hi Mahesh, you are correct. You will need multiple appliances but they may be serialized given the source system IOPS and network can be bottlenecks. So you should order only as many appliances that can saturate these at one time and then repeat the process until all the data is transferred. Another consideration is how quickly you want the data in cloud, while TA40 means more sessions, you will see lower end to end latency time in getting the data in GCP since it moves in smaller units.
