Malala's and Samra's memoirs sound good. I read I Am Malala a long time ago in school and should read her next book. Great wrap up!
I hope you’re feeling better. I’ve struggled with anxiety most of my life, so I’m much better now and I found it’s often helpful to discuss it openly if you’re able to. Ha Gaia, I love the shirt. I think that suits most of us. Wow 10 books at once? I just can't do it. Watch us Rise sounds like it would be a pretty good read. I will have to check into that one. I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series as well I have another series by Riordan that I need to get to as well. Hope you feel better soon. What a good idea to read multiple books on racism concurrently. It seems like a good way to take in a nuanced and well-rounded perspective on this complex topic.
Sounds like a lot of good books!! My sister gave me a copy of Hood Feminism but I haven’t read it yet. I think I have a copy of Black Fatigue as well. I’ve read one novel (Sputnik Sweetheart) and one short story (I can’t remember) by Murakami… I did like them in some ways not probably not enough to make me want to read a ~1000 page novel of his - I might try some more of his shorter ones and if I like them maybe one day will give Iq84 a go! Wow 10 books at a time would stress me out too but well done for powering through. I've a few of these on my wishlist aswell, it's interesting that the author tailored her book specifically to the Netherlands its great to talk about really specific issues close to home that can challenge your beliefs or views on your own surroundings.
