Yeah the breaking in the barrel comes from overhydrating the rounds too much. I’ve had the same issues with all blasters and brands that use gel rounds

I had the same issue with gels breaking in the barrel. Switched to X-Shot hyper gel ammo and it works like a charm. Did not have any issues after that.

Buyer beware, got one for Christmas today, and it doesn’t work at all. Put brand new batteries in (yes on both sides), it fired once when we tested it after putting the batteries in, before putting the gels in, but it will not fire again with or without gels, and yes we made sure that the trigger lock is not on

I have Amazon brand batteries I use. Not sure if they’re the best but you can get a ton of them for relatively cheap
