Thanks for the walk through! Used a smaller machine for the first time about 6 months ago for a demo project. Doing another demo project this weekend with the JCB 85Z from Sunbelt and needed a refresher. The blade tilt is a cool feature!
You're welcome! Glad I could be of assistance. This machine is the one I use for most of my demo's. Not too expensive, has plenty of power and is pretty versatile!
This one is a rental from Sunbelt. Most of their excavators are JCB's. Normally for residential demo, it's light weight so I use the JCB 85Z...an 18,500 lb unit. For commercial stuff, I step up to the JCB 220LC...the 45,000 lb machine. I've also used CAT excavators, Deere, Bobcat etc. JCB is just what Sunbelt uses now primarily. I don't have any major issues with JCB's.
@@Forestryman707 Not yet. We've been doing demo for just about 2 years now, mostly small residential stuff....but soon I will. Working towards it! Literally started this business from the ground up, no loans, no inheritance or anything. Just a strong work ethic, determination and constant grind.

I'll probably never operate one in my life but this is a fascinating video
great info here. planning on renting a JCB 1CXT, so am doing some learning.
Any idea what that fault code was on the screen? I just bought an 85z and it has the same fault with the ! On it. Trying to figure it out.
Thank you for educating us. I am now certified. Lol
That voice!
Sounds like that thumb could use some grease 😂
It definitely did need some. They used to grease them good before they gave them to us but this one not so much. I greased it the next morning
@@smldemolition well, it's a rental, it's not going to be treated very nicely.
What made you go with a JCB?
