FYI Bai Dinh pagoda was first built over 750 years ago . There are actually 2 parts . The ancient part is situated about 1 km away from the new one where you were visiting . It was built inside a cave in the 13th century , and the new part is built recently , about 10 years ago . Bai Dinh is not the biggest pagoda in Vietnam . In Ha Nam province ( south of Hanoi ) , there is another one named Tam Chuc , bigger and more beautiful than Bai Dinh . It`s actually a new built pagoda ( about 6 years ago ) by a devoted Buddhist Vietnamese businessman . Before the pandemic the international Vesak celebration was held there, reuniting monks from all the Buddhist nations in the world

6:35 - that majestic aerial view ... wow! Make the 150k worth it because if you guys took the 60k ride, you may not have reached at this pagoda which looks pretty far inside to walk.

Thats a good way to see it - the tower ticket is included only in the 150k ticket 😃
