This surely is a pretty location with the tall grasses. After nearly 14 years we are still using these cages in our ADC business for beaver nearly every day from spring till fall. Have now taken more than 2,000 beaver in them and lots of otters. The don't get damaged after catches are made, just keep on catching.

Great set. Putting the trap in that narrow channel with the castor mound behind it is a sure thing. Using the swim through Comstock beaver cage trap with a 12x18 inch opening makes setting super fast and easy. By setting the trap as shown upside down there is little chance of having debris clog the doors. These traps work well for otter, beaver, muskrats, nutria and turtles under water as well as bobcats, fox and raccoons when set sideways on land.

@@BigBeavrSlayer Thanks. I do what I can, but know that I miss a lot on computers. I like to add something that may be of help. I'm usually done with nuisance beaver trapping this time of year, but this year I still have a dozen jobs to finish and another dozen to start. Crazy year. We at comstockcustomcage are always available to help and share information with anyone using our equipment.

@@BigBeavrSlayer In the past 5 years have taken 22 live otter, one double and never have had any damage to any of the cages. One trapper got 3 small otter at once and another trapper in Washington got 5 twenty pound male otters in one cage at one time! No damage.

Great job on the beavers! It is a huge help for landowners. Btw you are wearing a beautiful fur hat. Is it beaver, too?

@@3nails337 Thanks. That´s great! You got style, trapping for beavers in a beaver fur hat is nice. I like fur accesories very much, too. Isn´t it too warm? I have heard beaver fur to be very warm...
