If its flung into a bush or brambles or nettles or over a hedge or wall, it’s someone who’s picked up the poo because someone’s watching and they feel social pressure to pick it up but throw it as soon as no one can see, whereas if it’s purposefully hung on a fence or twig or placed obviously on a path edge, it’s someone who’s walking a loop and they plan to pick it up on the way back. Seen as this ones warm and purposefully hung to be visible, I’d say someone was coming back for that one

Sitting in a car park on the seafront in Hastings a couple of months ago waiting for an appointment, and this guy about 70 ish walked in front of my car with his little dog, the dog stopped right under a seat connected to a bench and crapped, the guy just looked around and pulled his dog away and just started walking off, until i stuck my head out the window and shouted "are you picking that up then by any chance" he swung round surprised, then noticed me and said "yes just about to" so he walked over to a bin, that he'd literally just walked by close to the bench and grabbed a sheet of paper ( fish and chips wrapping) and picked up the crap.. Obviously no interest in originally doing it, the fact he had no bags on him was a dead giveaway 🙄. Its not my home town, but really, i don't understand people's mindset, and i have no respect for them, it shows in my tone for sure, if i was allowed to shove faces in it i definitely would be tempted 😂

When I worked for the local council in the parks department this was one of the most annoying things that people did,imagine using a strimmer to cut long grass only to find people had flung a bag of dog waste in there,not nice ì can tell you. I actually caught someone tieing a bag of dog waste to a tree branch and when I confronted them about it,their explanation was there was no dog bin,there was less than 50 yards away it took longer to tie it onto the tree than to walk to the bin,dirty bastards is right what is wrong with these people

I have to admit I have done this, I always pick up, but hang it on a branch while I walk up the track, I then pick it up on the way back and bin it, but I have before walked past and had to pick it up the next day ! There is no excuse for not picking up, no point in throwing the bag with it in !
There is a park near my house where ur not supposed to pick up the ds.. cause there is no bin anyways.. but a lot of people come there for walks 1-2 times a year and they do the same they are all city folk used to picking up the poo.. but then find out there is no bin so the chuck it in the bushes when noone is looking near the parking area.. then i have to see all these poop bags.. im not going to pick them up and take them home in the car also.. next week there are 3-4 new ones.. forrestry keeps cleaning it up though.. but new ones just keep coming.
To be fair there are very few of them left. Between the ones that leave it to do their business in the street, do not keep them on a leash and the ones that leave them in a small apartment by themselves while they are off to work I do not know any decent ones around where I live.

When I worked for the local council in the parks department this was one of the most annoying things that people did,imagine using a strimmer to cut long grass only to find people had flung a bag of dog waste in there,not nice ì can tell you. I actually caught someone tieing a bag of dog waste to a tree branch and when I confronted them about it,their explanation was there was no dog bin,there was less than 50 yards away it took longer to tie it onto the tree than to walk to the bin,dirty bastards is right what is wrong with these people

Now retired and too infirm to take responsibility for a dog, I kept dogs (usually a brace of terriers) for half a century. I have NEVER behaved in this disgusting manner - even before dog waste bins became common. Those people get responsible dog owners a bad name.

My theory is its dog walkers who would normally not clear up after their dog but someone is close by so they pick it up and as soon as they're out of sight they hang it up or chuck it in the bushes.
That's exactly what I was thinking. We could have total freedom with no policing, but unfortunately many people only do the right thing when they have to. They're like children.
If you get caught, they should block you from being able to own a dog again. You can keep the one you've got but then you lose your licence. There needs to be a licencing process to own dogs

I have to admit I have done this, I always pick up, but hang it on a branch while I walk up the track, I then pick it up on the way back and bin it, but I have before walked past and had to pick it up the next day ! There is no excuse for not picking up, no point in throwing the bag with it in !
There is a park near my house where ur not supposed to pick up the ds.. cause there is no bin anyways.. but a lot of people come there for walks 1-2 times a year and they do the same they are all city folk used to picking up the poo.. but then find out there is no bin so the chuck it in the bushes when noone is looking near the parking area.. then i have to see all these poop bags.. im not going to pick them up and take them home in the car also.. next week there are 3-4 new ones.. forrestry keeps cleaning it up though.. but new ones just keep coming.

To be fair there are very few of them left. Between the ones that leave it to do their business in the street, do not keep them on a leash and the ones that leave them in a small apartment by themselves while they are off to work I do not know any decent ones around where I live.

You alone friend, i have to live in a shelter currently with my wife in Southern California and we have been clean and sober for three years now. But if course almost everyone else here is not trying to get there life together. They let there dog shit everywhere and dont even try to clean it up. I have learned to just keep cleaning it up each morning because nothing will change.
