    Are we winning??? I certainly hope so and all signs appear to be going that way. The fish are happy and the community is thriving. I don't think it will be long before there are babies in the Multi group. The whole patch seems to be working well. And I'm really pleased with how the Kribensis tank is doing. The babies in there now are the biggest I've had yet and are still doing well. Fingers crossed that continues! 😊

    I have a 150 gallon malawi tank and it is not problem to grow plants
    At the begining they were diging them out but now the plants made nice long roots
    One time they had babies and the babies survived in the tank.Agressive males didnt eat them.

    leptsomas would be awesome in this tank!! Great idea. I would still love you to consider a small group of 4 AltoLamprologus Crompressiceps or calvus. They are a very different body shape to the stocking you currently have. They only grow about 4 inches long and are likely to predate the shell dwellers and other Julies babys...WHich in years to come will be something you need to do cause They will breed alot!! Also this is your best tank ever...I look froward to updates on it. SO much fun!! Thanks :)

I don't know if you have done this before but can you make a vid of setting up a tank with plants and fishes but from scratch? By this I mean not using any of your own plants, fishes or water. Just as a regular person would starting new. just to see the entire process and time it would take. Thanks and keep up your fantastic work.

    Get an intake sponge for your filter intake. Keeps the intake from sucking up fry and also helps pre filter water before it gets into main filter system keeping it cleaner longer between cleanings. It's also great for beneficial bacteria to grow helping biological filter.

      The shell dwelling babies will eat crushed flake right away. The tricky part is getting it to them.

    You should get a substrate snales not MTS to run over the sand. I can't remember what they're called but they kinda look like a giant MTS and don't breed like crazy

    This is so beautiful and huge tank. But I think fishes are less as per tank size. Any specific reason fishes are less ?

    Love your content MD. I’m just wondering, if you move the send away from the glass, won’t you eventually end up with all your sand full of algae ? I seen a video where they vacuumed the sand and then cleaned the sand and was able to reuse it. Not sure if this is what you plan on doing .

    • @T0tenkampf
      @T0tenkampf ปีที่แล้ว

      The algae will die with no access to light, the cyano might live though as it is able to feed anaerobically.
