Nice rebuild. Over the years it becomes clear just how common these machines get run over or stood on and damaged by customers and pro users. Same goes for chainsaws where they get run over, dropped out of a tree, or had a tree fall on them. In the trade we get to see it all. 🛠
Thanks for the kind words! I enjoy saving these high quality machines. It's infrequent, but I do get chainsaws brought in that have been run over or dropped out of trees, pole-pruners that have been pinched during a cut and then pulled apart, and or bent, and once-in-a-while, the bent drive tube caused by users who put brush cutters/string trimmers on the ground and use one foot to stand on the drive tube while pull starting.
@@austinado16 Yep, same here. Some of the customers are worse than others but you soon get to know who makes a habit of wrecking their gear. lol.. Keep it going m8.. 🛠
@@TGMForum Very true, and their equipment is always the worst condition when it comes in. They're also the ones who are always complaining about how much the repairs cost.
Thank you very much! It was a fun project, and a total unknown. The T242's are bulletproof and extremely popular here, both for homeowners and mow-n-blow crews.
