Another cracking video, very well done on the rays and hitting the 50 mark too. loved watch you fighting that fish, just a shame he got away.

Thanks Bob. Thank you for the help with number 47. Have they returned or gone for the year? What do you think the fish I lost was? I think conger. Someone else said a Big Ray

@@FishingAroundBudleigh Could have been a Conger or a good Ballan, they have a habit of swimming around then burying them selves in rocks. There was a gilt come out yesterday there.

Brilliant, thank you. I would love to have seen whatever snapped you off. I thought I had expensive taste in rods (Slash) but a Xesta, very impressive. Have been drooling over those and Tict on the Art of Fishing website, I think for me it would have to be a Tict, having handled one, Oh well dream on.

Thanks Alan. I would love to have seen it too. The Xesta is nice but prefer the Tailwalk one. Thinking if selling the Xesta if I'm honest. Maybe replace it with a 7g Tailwalk

Technical query: What length of line do you have between shot and hook on splitshot rigs and do you incorporate a swivel in the leader?

Sorry. Only just seen this. I simply attached the splitshot about 6 inches away from the hook on clean ground. A little shorter when dropping into rocks. No swivel needed.

Just came across this on a page. Loved that. I was traveling in aus and caught a small sting ray on a soft plastic and it went wild. CAnnot imagine on an LRF setup. Lovely channel anyway will watch on. Have a look at mine enjoy. ❤️🧨 got a sun from me in jersey
