Thank youuu 🥰🥰 no, not always…you are alone in a private room only if it’s a single room. If it’s a double room then you share it with another student. The rooms are assigned randomly so unfortunately you cannot choose which type you want :/

I want to study at Ewha so I love videos like this! I wish there were more intentional students who made videos about studying there. Also, be careful with showing your room number! Some people can be weird

1) Is it necessary to know Korean in order to apply?(entry requirements)
2) Do we need to give the SAT exam?
3) What scholarships are there for International students?
4) What are the requirements for the scholarships
5) Is it safe around the campus?

I applied for the International Exchange Program so the info I have is regarding that only…
1) No, you only need Korean if your courses are in Korean. If they are in English then you only need English.
2) No, it’s not necessary.
3) There are multiple scholarships which you can find here: isa.ewha.ac.kr/oisa/1420/subview.do
4) You can find the requirements on the same link
5) It’s very very safe :)

Does this dormitory also belong to those who attend Korean language courses or should they use I-House?

I-House is mostly for international students and especially exchange students (also Korean language course). Other dorms are more for the Korean students or full-time students :)

Did you get your own bathroom? I’m going to Ewha next spring semester and I am worried I won’t be able to get my own bathroom, I really don’t want to share haha
Unfortunately dorm rooms are assigned randomly so you don’t get to choose which room you stay at. I got a single room with private bathroom but this semester because of covid even double rooms are given to one person only.
I'll be 17 year old after graduating high school in june but you must apply for universities and scholarships in march which means I will waste a whole year to apply missing so many other opportunities and I was wondering if I could apply before my graduation or something

How many types of dormitories are there in Ewha? And especially what type of dorms does the uni provide to undergraduate international students??
There are 3 different dormitories: I-House, E-House and Hanwoori House. As far as I know, most international/exchange students end up in I-House. I-House itself has 3 different buildings for students…A&B are a little bit older and C is newer. The one I stayed in was building C :)

I’m not sure if they offer that but you can send an email to the housing office and they will quickly respond to you 😊 Their email is ihouse@ewha.ac.kr
