One of the best school where my youngest grandfather had studied during British Regime in India. And I love this school where my youngest grandpa had studied.
Watching this video has hit me with a massive wave of nostalgia, Goethals has changed with the tide of time but the memories still remain, fresh as ever. Joined in 95, “passed out” in 04, still can’t it’s been almost 18 years since I left Goethals. Many thanks to Sagar for posting this on TH-cam and allowing us, X-Goets, to go back in time and relive our memories 🤙
Wow!! Lot of changes!!! especially the grass in the 4th field😅, how we used to wish for that.. 😀 still a lot of things appear to be the same... spent 8 years of my life there, hope to go back and visit my dear old school some day... 🤞

Your guide Brigen is in Class VI and he's such an amazing kid. I was in Class VI when I joined GMS in 1968 as a boarder but I don’t think I was half as smart as Brigen 😊

But I still miss the old world charm that the school had . Awesome work done . It’s just not a yearning trip for the present folks but a good nostalgic kick for the old GOATS like us . I really hear that Gothalas school is so big and nice but today you will show all of that things which things must be needed in every school especially that outside ground leave its look just a amazing so I think such a good school it will belongs if we follow the good abalitey we never get the any complikchasion so good day and take care is me sarad from moonda t.e estate.

Our Darjeeling has the best of the best schools but afsos yo cha ki we lack universities, medical colleges and technical institutes etc and on top of that we lack industries. Darjeeling has commercial potential which remains unused.

Hi Shatriq! Which school did you represent? It was in 1973 when the inter-school elocution was first held. Four Kurseong schools (GMS, St Helen's, Victoria and Dow Hill) participated and it was hosted at Goethals.
Oh man goethals has changed a lot during our time next the old auditorium there used to be senior classes,the senior computer lab used to be our library,no lawns near that dusty field wow everything has changed but anyways I miss Goethals. Big shoutout to you @rjsagarda.
Bhai, thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope you can do other schools as well North Point, Loreto Convent, Mt Hermon, St Roberts, St Teresa, Boarding all the heritage schools. My dad's older brother taught at Turnbull for a while before entering politics.......
