    Great Video thank you.
I am transitioning from Sony (A7R3) to Nikon (I will be placing an order for a Z8 in the next few days). I just do photography as a hobby, so I shoot a little bit of everything, but I do shoot a lot of Landscape and was curious about how the sunstars are with this lens.
    Thanks

The Z8 will be an incredible camera for you. The sunstars on this lens are pretty normal from the very few times I have gotten them.

It's a very sharp lens and made me realise that there was a fault with my Nikon Z 35mm f4

It's a great travel lens for landscape/Cityscapes etc.. However, if one does any Astro work it's best to save up for the 14-24 2.8S. It's a truly amazing lens and quite large but not too heavy at all..Thanks for the upload.

Not necessarily. If one is serious about Astro, save up for a PRIME lens. F2.8 barely cuts it for astro.

I had this lens, sold it, and got the rebadged Tamron 17-28 specifically for using the Z30 on gimbal.

when you start using things on a gimbal there are a whole new set of parameters that you need to look at. Enjoy the new Tamron lens, I love the Tamron lenses that I have.

@@rodneybraun it is pretty good. I don’t do a ton of landscape photography.

@intrinsicimagery the biggest key is that you like it and use it. Enjoy.

I have this lens...wide open at 14mm it's definately not sharp edge to edge. Stopping down improves but not by a lot.

The first 2 months that I had this lens it was sharp edge to edge however I just got back from a 2 week trip doing landscapes and I have found it was not edge to edge sharp for much of that time, I will do a check to see if it was the polarizer that I had on it or the lens. Thanks for your feedback.
