I try not to be negative with this special team... But I can't speak positively about Boupenbza... He's sloppy and clearly a man of vanity. So many times He's tried to make flashy touches that went to the defense. He's currently out bc he suffered a broken jaw at a bar. I wasn't there but I'm willing to believe he had it coming 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
This one hurts, I thought Nancy got it wrong today, matan at wingback didn’t work and subbing morris lost us the midfield battle. I’m hoping he’s just looking forward to the ccl final and as much as I love him as a coach, we all make mistakes. In Wilfred we trust
Yeah the Crew just seemed so much less in control than normal, wild considering the home streak(s). I think the 10 days of rest was the real killer--just a bit of rust, which is too much when playing Cincy, esp with Kelsy who seems like a real starter, great sub from Noonan ig
What a performance by Kevin Kelsy coming in for us in only his second game and already proving he can be the target man we so desperately need after Brandon Vasquez’s exit
Venezuela might finally have another proper talent and an answer at #9 not named Rondon. I support Columbus but I'm also a fan of Kelsy. This match pulled at my heart.
OHHHHH FCC!!!! Hope this team can gel together and take back Ohio to the city where it belongs in Cincinnati!!! Also LUCHO LUCHO BABY!!! LUCHO LUCHO OOOOOOHHHHH!!
While this happened three weeks ago, I'm happy for FC Cincinnati and that win over the defending MLS Cup champion Crew in Columbus. Mind you, I like the Crew as well, but the expansion Cincy club showed some life in a big way against their cross-state rivals. Well done, guys.
This one has the clear derby feel in it. Two amazing stadiums, dedicated fans, and two squads that can play good football in their day. Lucho Acosta has been phenomenal again for FCC and the Crew is not producing goals, so the results seems very fair. But you have to love the derby vibes. Propz Ohio!
Looked like Cincinnati has been looking forward to this for weeks and been training specifically for weeks for this game. BUT the crew looked like they have been in multiple competitions early on. And maybe were not as prepared for this match as they should have been.
FCC fan here...and a pessimist at heart. I predicted Columbus was gonna hand it to us 3-1: we've several dismal performances this season.... Columbus is rocking it in the Leagues tourney. They gassed us in post-season play last year. 2/3 of our strike package from last year is gone and our chemistry with their replacements isn't quite there yet...and we have history with the ref, Guido...and the Crew has always been a thorn in our side. Bbbbbuuttt nah baby nah. No amount of pissing and moaning here about this bad call or that non-call can take away from the fact that... FCC SIMPLY BEAT THE CREW!
Same here. Yes, Crew should’ve had a PK for Acosta’s foul in the box. (As far as I’m concerned, it makes up for the non-call against Crew 2 years ago, for the blatant offside goal 😄). But nothing detracts from the fact that FCC played well. Hopefully, Kelsy can start more often because, despite the goal last week, Baird’s been pretty useless.
@@salvadordenadaJAJAJAJAJA!!! Buen chiste pequeñín, sigue subestimando al Crew. Que tardo o temprano los van hacer un hole de realidad para que se callen la boca🤫. Por cierto… Columbus no es Philadelphia, así que piensa antes que digas estupideces.
Strange! I watch the MLS matches, and it seems that the home field is a distinct disadvantage for the teams! In my opinion, the away teams win about 70% of the matches! Why is this so?🤔🤔🧐🧐
I love Columbus but what a win for Cincinnati. Ohio soccer is showing the rest of the country how its done
Well, look at it this way, Cincinnati is the only true team to defeat Columbus this season. Only the rivals can break a streak.
lol let STL step in 😊
Big American derby. Two of the best team in the league, both in Ohio. Congrats to Cinci for the victory.
ACOSTA!!! MVP stuff showing why he is the TRUE MLS MVP😱
Has fcc ever won a cup?
And fcc has divers like little 3 ft 5 acosta

A good synonym for "brilliant" is LUCHO!
So happy to see Kelsey get his first! Need some production from our center forwards. Hopefully we can get Boupendza off the books in the summer too 🤞

Boupendza getting cold-cocked may be the best thing to happen to this team.

Morris was nicked up and didn't practice much this week. Nancy has to rotate his players. It was a good match.
@@ianbrudnakvoss3126 tbf all he had to do was put jump 5’5 matan
@@TC7WarThunder yeah but if give him credit for getting into that position, likely just down to the Crew not being fully prepped for it

Is it just me, or does anyone else see similarities between the Crew's yellow and black jersey and Charlie Brown's tshirt?
Yup. Hideous jersey
Ohio is the new soccer capital of the world

It's a no-brainer: Acosta is man of the match!

man this is a nice stadium? is it Columbus home ground?
Yes, the new stadium they built nearer the city centre.
Acosta is to Cincinnati as Diego Valeri was to Portland...
What a difficult matchup player.
The Battle of the Derby Ohio's
I absolutely love Lucho but he only plays about 10-20% of the match. Teams should definitely take notice of that 10-20%
Lucho was recovering from an injured ankle and was up all night sick before this game. Remarkable player.

Acosta, please join the US Men's National Team!
These teams will destroy Messi-less Inter Miami during the Copa America ✍️
So when Miami has the full team, these teams will lose? I rest my case.
