It break my heart knowing that a lot of people deny that covid-19 even exist, mostly because of Trump. Even with more than 100 000 death from it. A man reading above my shoulder just show me a picture of his grandpa with a number tattooed on his arm and say : "Some people still deny the holocaust today despite the testimony of my grandpa, who was deported to Auschwitz."
It make me very sad for the futur.
Had Dr Riaz not have been intubated, he may still have been alive today.
It's wonderful to know there are still great people around to help and cheer each other up, especially in hard times

It is a sad country where a politician is praised for capping the price of insulin at $100 dollars a month... With all due respect for the governor, who's probably doing what he can... in my (relatively poor) european country, insulin is FREE.
💯As great as that seems it does not help the poor who work two or more jobs and live paycheck to paycheck. $100 dollars a month limit will be no help to more than it will help. The question of do I buy food, pay rent, pay utilities, or buy insulin still remains. IMO this is a meager attempt that gets media coverage and gives the uninformed something to point to and say "see we are doing something." The U.S. is the only 1st world country who cannot make universal health care work. 🤦♀

Wow, just by looking at two pictures you know that the boy never thanked his saviour and is up for a criminal carrier - I am impressed
This was a small child who had just been rescued. He was likely scared out of his mind, and only wanted to go home. Also, there were only two photos taken and posted, so we do not know exactly what happened after. Also, would you have said anything the boy robbing the man in the future if the little boy was white? Somehow (sadly) I'm sure you wouldn't have said anything so mean and spiteful.

Who knows if he actually did it? The decks are stacked against Black folks, especially boys and men, in the justice system. Plea deals are a huge thing, and innocent people may take them rather than risk a longer penalty at trial. Remember that eyewitness evidence is notoriously unreliable.
He was granted parole by the parole board. He was turned down few times but should be out by now. Life isn't easy
