BIYB: The BBC News Theme

The Brentwood Imperial Youth Band, as with all Bands, has been affected by the restrictions due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus and has been unable to rehearse or perform. However, with the very kind permission of the composer, David Lowe Music, and the inspiration of Owain Wyn Evans, the band has performed the BBC News Theme whilst isolating.
Band members were sent the score for their part in the theme, with no prior knowledge, and given just 2 days to record themselves playing it at home together with some marching - after all we are a marching band!. These have then been compiled to produce the music and video. A tremendous achievement in particular when you realise the age range of the members - from 10 years old. Well done Band.
