as an arkansas fan knowing what we know now I’m not ashamed we got absolutely blown out by UConn. UConn blew out every team in the tournament by a 20 point margin. Nobody in the tournament was beating that team
Arkansas was a definite win. Happy we got all teams out side of the big east. It would of took a big east team to make it a nailbiter. Villinova Xavier marquette were the only teams that could of beat UConn. Crazy how they all fell to teams like Arkansas but beat UConn during the regular season. By the time UConn entered the tournament and I saw the brackets and losses w in the first two rounds I knew no one had anything for UConn. It wasn't even close. I knew UConn taking everyone seriously for the rest of the tourney they would all be just another decent beaten team
Kansas Marquette and a couple other number ones had a chance against UConn but they would have to play there best to beat them. Uconns the only top team in the tourney that performed to potential. Other great teams played soft played scared UConn play elite like a pro team. And what's crazy is they had another level they could of played up too. They had room to steam roll everyone. They only played up to 85 percent of there best and that was in there final game. They had another level to turn up to and never had to play that hard. UConn just played to there above average potential they never had to fully open up and play there best ball to win. W Hawkins going they have enough retuning along w 3 of the burst recruits in the country. If they play there best next tourney they repeat w an even better performance
