At 01:55: A very brief glimpse of an awning advertising (Everards) Sabre Lager. It was absolutely disgusting. When the Rutland & Derby switched to it around 1973, I switched to Gold Label Barley Wine! (Everards bitter was equally foul!)
Great video. I’m originally from Leicester but have lived in America for quite some time now. I couldn’t quite workout which area it is. Looks a bit like Netherhall, or maybe New parks ?
The Registry Office on Pocklingtons Walk..then on to the Fairfield Pub on the Estate of same name in Wigston.
