I am a complete diesel Newbie but over the past year iv been trying to learn what I can about them. Iv had a turbo 99 z28 small tire car that went 5.40's that I sold a few months ago and finished my 2003 single cab Sierra turbo street/strip deal after sitting for over 2.5 years I took it to the track for the first time friday and ended up goin 6.80s on its 5th pass But I recently picked up a Cummins 4bt and I can grab a little roller s10 that was put together in 2005 it's a solid truck and has potential i could make fly with a ls motor and turbo but I really want to play with this 4bt from what iv read its about the same weight as big block if I can get a th400 on the 4bt without costing a ton of money I'm gonna get that s10 and venture out into uncharted waters. Iv been told these 4bts can make some steam and I cant afford to go out and buy a 2500 duramax or Cummins truck so this seems to be the best option for me.
That looks like fun. Can the Aisin hops 1000hp? I have a 19 and would love to see the power that red truck is making. I wouldn’t mind duplicating his build. I would only be useing it as a street truck, daily driver. No real track abuse.
Hey fire punk have a 2015 cummins pretty much stock deleted looking for some better tuning y’all do anything with raceme ultras? I have had it for over 3 years and don’t have any issues with it but looking for my power now
Guys how much hp if a guy looks after his Transmission with driving habits do you feel the 68 will hold? 2017 with a billet valvebody, billet converter, billet flex plate all revmax stuff. Do you have a general idea if a guy looks after it.
You could have 2000 hp and not blow it up if you domt get on it. My experience would be a 48 swap with billet inpit then youre good for 850. Or go fat shafts and keep going up from there

Yes, throwing a P0735 code means he slipped the 5th gear clutches, and once you slip a clutch it's the beginning of the end. Let's just hope he didn't break hard parts.

You can make a lot of power in a 2wd if you do a 4link and suspension work, but with stock suspension, then it becomes a burnout queen much passed 750hp
The ride along in the quad cab was intense lol I thought the speedo was gonna snap off 🤣 damn I love that truck

Usually 500 on a 68 is where you wanna be. The 5th gear is the problem so jusy dont be rough on it in that gear

Engine block from charity case , the remainder of the parts from the quad cab Landon swapped over.
