SimCity 2013 - Time Lapse - 0 to 500,000 Population My first time lapse so please be nice. :) I imported cash from another city at the start and dropped taxes to allow faster growth, enjoy.
i got both skyline with all DLC and simcity with cities of tomorrow. to me simcity hands down winner in terms of game mechanic trading, survivability and futuristic theme with awesome music. the only thing simcity that has bad rep because of that DRM shit and stupid traffic bug that cause delivery stuck for months. Skyline is mimicking simcity 4 and all its mechanics if it wasnt for simcity 4 skyline doesnt exist (appreciate that). The only thing skyline win because of supporting mods and large land. it is fun having large land but i just dont get what can i do with all those resources, its missing trade purpose and i can make my town own all of them but just what can i do with it? graphics both game is fine and i do love skyline improvement just i dont like their music, its awful. I dont do mods cause it just ruin the whole originality. if you rate these two without mods simcity is better

I hate regions play style thats enough for me to like skylines and even cities xxl better. I want just one huge city and not 10 tiny one to make the game works
sim city 4 rush hour is still the best city simulator for me nothing compares to being lost in all menues and having to work around circles of police/schools/fire coverages on a square-tiled map
lol the road placing noise sped up sounds like somebody unraveling a roll of duct tape. That's probably how they made that noise, they just recorded unrolling some duct tape and then slowed down the recording. That's pretty neat!

I prefer Cities Skylines, it had a much better launch and did what SC 2013 didn’t (larger city plots, water pipes and power lines separate from roads, road upgrading, building density doesn’t depend on road type, modding support, etc.). Also, thankfully, radiation is only in SC 2013. Cities, however, doesn’t have modular service buildings or multiple cities on one map. You’re entitled to your own opinion on which is better, but as I said just before, I personally prefer Cities Skylines due to it having much better gameplay. How do I know that? I’ve played both games and I think the one in the video is lacking in content, even with its futuristic Cities of Tomorrow DLC. Anyways, I think Cities Skylines is much more worth the buy, especially if you think that having more content is better, like me. Thank you for reading this, Brenden

Lol this game looks like game for smartphones or tablets. I bought this game few years ago and it was fun until I watched cities skylines gameplay... I like multiplayer in this game, dont know if its still working or not but u could send police, ambulans to your friend city etc it was nice feature. Cities Skylines multiplayer is my wet dream.
A lot of people say simcity sucks compared to skylines but although simc is too small the variety of building is much better ,the models are great, day and night is cool,it runs smoothly now; the sims interact more i;e in the parks and sports areas etc,the simulation is more believable in simc and a bit stupid in skylines; i prefer simc by a mile;
I was fan of sim city I have played from 1 in early 90" to 4 in to end first decade of 21 century , and as a fan , I can say , five... is a simshity , 6 if ever be made , should be more like 3 and 4 , with no internet "prison" , and with gigantic maps.
