- I started playing Rayman Legends in March 2017, with my main challenge being The Land of Livid Dead, As far as you can ! My old PB used to be 5.5 km at this time.
During all my Rayman Legends years, i've been pushing the limits of the land Distance everytime, despite everyone thinking it can not be pushed any further.
And today, i am here to prove again, that the land does not have limit to me.
The 300 km was an objective i've been aiming at since March 2018, after i reached 262 km for the first time.
This took me 7 attempts to finally make it, but there it is.
I started this run at about 3-4 PM the 22nd June 2021 and ended it at about 1-2 PM 23rd June 2021, it took me about 7h30-8h of playing.
I died by a spontanous combustion on a pillar, and if i'm not wrong it's the very first time this happens to anyone, looks like it had to be me again, but i'm not disapointed at all, the 300 km is reached, and my goal is too.
I'm not excluding a new attempt later this summer, to maybe find a way to lower the chance of getting a spontanous combustion on pillars, but this can not be avoided 100%.

We've all been waiting for this moment Bapa...Feels so unnatural to see someone getting this far. This year, and more precisely, this month is legendary when it comes to Distances...First Petrini on Dojo, then you. And both of these are WRs with more than 100k lead over 2nd WR. Just sick. Good luck with your future goals, and hopefully we'll see 400 km by you, and with that (correct me if I'm wrong) the first person ever to hit the absolutely legendary 200k average barrier. Huge GG!
Thanks ! Yeah May-June are probably the two most legendary months for distances. Two Land distance WR, dojo WR... For myself, 124k lums in dojo (new pb), 124k pit (random run), 240 km land, 297k land, and then the final 314 km.
I am definitely not going to stop on this 314 km, and i have still something to test about the 262 km zone.
And about distance Average, indeed, i'd be the first person to get the 200k, i'm currently the highest distance average with 180.99k, and i need to improve my pbs by a total of 95k to get it.
I'd be so cool to get it :D
Also maybe 40 km tower one day ? Who knows what i'm up to...

Je suis ta chaîne depuis exactement Mars 2018, ce qui correspond au moment où tu as eu 262km pour la première fois. Je me souviens Je cherchais juste "landes esprits frappée distance world record" et j'étais tombé sur ta vidéo. Je savais même pas qu'un tel score était possible et pourtant je me souviens que tu disais déjà que tu voulais 300km en landes, refusant de croire que 262 était la limite du jeu.
Ta chaîne à travers ces années m'a toujours été source d'inspiration en distance au vu de ton skill et de ta patience qui permettent de nous sortir des dingueries. Tu as bossé comme un fou aussi pour réfléchir aux strats que tu pouvais faire pour avoid les nouveaux glitch, même si ça n'a jamais été toujours simple, tu as commencé à bien les maîtriser. Enfin 3 ans après ton premier +262km score tu as enfin réussi à dépasser les 300km. J'ai eu des frissons sur les 30 derniers mètres, je suis juste tellement content que t'aies réussi à le faire!
C'est quelque chose dont je suis extrêmement fier de toi et dont tu peux l'être aussi. Dommage pour la strat sur un pillier qui est apparemment useless et pour cette mort qui montre que ça commence à devenir très compliqué là, mais t'as au moins fait quelque chose que nulle autre personne a fait et probablement nulle autre personne aura fait dans sa vie!

J'en ai fait des exploits sur la lande mdr... En partant du gamin qui pouvait pas jouer à splatoon parce que sa wifi était à chier au gars qui éclate les limites du jeu.
J'ai appris tellement de chose au travers de ces glitch qui rendent unique ce jeu, sans eux, j'aurais probablement jamais continuer ainsi.
7 tentatives il m'a fallut pour les atteindre ces 300 km légendaires, mais je les ai atteints, tout en gagnant de l'expérience et en comprenant mieux les glitch du jeu au point de peut-être, les avoir totalement compris et de les prédire.
En effet, ma strat n'a peut-être pas vraiment d'utilité, juste au fait de pouvoir se tourner vers la gauche et sauter (mdr quoi ?)
Mais c'était le cas pour mes premiers essais aussi, où je faisais des GP éclatés sur tous les bumpers comme un con.
C'est seulement sur ma 5eme tentative que j'ai compris l'inutilité de 75% de mes strats, et maintenant c'est peut-être même 100% de mes strats qui sont inutiles XD
Mais bon, faut bien tenter des choses pour les comprendre...
Il est temps d'en faire autant pour les prochaines distances, 40 km tower, 200 km murfy et même pourquoi pas les 262 km et qui sais... 400 km lande...?

Il était temps que ces 300 km tombe ! J'ai encore et toujours l'envie d'aller plus loin, mais les random combustions ont l'air d'arriver vachement souvent à ce niveau là... Il y a moyen de s'adapter pour certain obstacles mais d'autres...
Et toi ? Je brûle d'impatience à l'idée de te voir battre un de tes records...!

Incroyable :D Qui aurait penser qu'un jour on atteindrait cette distance en land (toi je sais;). Les glitchs sont présents parce que ça aurait été trop facile sans :P et t'a encore prouver que les distances en général n'ont pas de limites... GG !
Merci :D Y'a quand même moyen de prédire une limite aux distances, par exemple, je doute que l'on puisse survivre jusqu'aux 524 km, ou alors avec beaucoup de chance due à la très haute probabilité de mourir instantanément à chaque fois que l'on touche quelque chose sans faire un GP. Mais bon, je tiens à battre ce 314 km pendant cet été, pour repousser encore et toujours plus, les limites de la lande distance.

Yea like for that Piller in common, a tap glide to grab the ledge should do it
I think as well, short jump into glide to get the ledge, but it won't be possible for every pillars, it starts looking like a tower dist, RNG based

300k looks so mastered that it already is i think i tap glide as mitch said to to the pillers that you died anyways i can judje a 314.04 km land legend
I also think it could work better to go for a ledge grab instead of a direct jump for this pillar, but some pillars can not be avoided this way, it's pretty much going to be RNG at that point.

Is that death just unlucky or is It a random 314km glitch
According to RedPabillon, it's a spontanous combustion like every other. It starts happening at around 32 km, and it happens more and more often the further you go. It's pretty much random but at 300 km it's not rare for it to happen.

do you know what is the final breaking point of land distance? I think it's like 1050km or something super high
I tested the limit of the Wii U by going out of bounds and falling straight down for hours. After about 2600 km deep, the game ended up crashing. So the true breaking point for land would be at about 2600 km as well.

The highest (legit) distance ever done is 325.05 km by Vraduggon in the neverending pit. It is possible to get to 1000 km in pit for sure, but it's very long and hard. 1000 km in land could also be possible, but some glitches are unavoidable at some point. We'll see what players could come up with in the future, who knows what can happen

300km = 300,000 700km to go to get the 1,000km = 1000,000m try it it may take like a single year but try that challenge bapa\distance player
I doubt 1000 km is possible, considering on how high is the chance of instant death at 300 km, and it only gets worse the further you go.

I don't think so, if there was it would have already happened, i did so many runs above 262 km.
