I have the big version the Mantis!!! Took it out on the trails in the VA mountains it performed beautifully!!!! Highly recommend this bike! For the money you can’t beat it
I'd say a surron light bee or talaria sting would be better for road use cuz they have a pedal kit you can install and eventually the cops will Crack down on these bikes and a pedal kit will allow you more time on the roads before they figure out the bikes are too powerful to be ebikes
I'd stay away from it for AT LEAST 6+ mos to see if it's just a "rug pull", they have only 2 bikes they're passing around like a wet sloppy blunt, & supposedly releasing them soon, I think they'll make just enough models, get them into mostly influencers hands & then go POOF!!! I work in the ebike industry, & kinda know how the inner workings is, & this to me is really worrisome, but I hope I'm wrong, & wish them the best, but it's just giving me a lot of signs I've seen before that are raising red flags
So around the 2 :20 mark you state if you have a little more money to spend you recommend getting something a little more premium. What would your recommendation be? Thanks
I got the full size Mantis, & it's a whole different beast than it's lil brother, & comes out the box better equipped, & for a cheaper price, I've been beating on mine in the Nevada desert & mountains & have over 300 miles & haven't even had it 2 weeks yet, & it'll conquer whatever I throw at it, I'm sorry, but gas bikes are over for me, the only Achilles Heel to e motos over their gas counterparts is top speed & range, but look how far they've come in even 2 years, & now they're working on graphene batteries which will be a game changer
I'd recommend the talaria sting mx5 $5000 and it has a gearbox instead of a belt and jackshaft much more durable especially for off road use. If you wanna spend more money tho like 6500 then the ultra bee is the way to go.
@@AdventureDailyI'm 49yo, & been in BMX, & dirtbikes my whole life & am usually stubborn to change, but after buying my first ebike 5 years ago, I sold my car's within a month & been commuting full time on ebikes ever since,& with the money I saved I just bought ebikes like you buy shoes, for different tasks. 😂 My latest is the full size Rwarr Mantis,& it's scary fast, got over 300 miles & still haven't even tried sport mode, I don't need it, Eco 2 & 3 is PLENTY FAST!
@@ReVolt_e-Vlogs lol this is hilarious that bikes not even fast and you don't use sport mode. I never switch out of sport mode and my bikes faster than a rawwr
I got the full size 1 & I just said that, it's plenty fast, & I still haven't really tried "sport mode" it's 9.5kw at full bore & 6.5kw nominal power & that's more than enough for a long time, anything really over 12kw-15kw is un-usable & just for bragging rights, you can't even keep the front end down with that power, even with lil twists of the throttle. Lol
I got the full size 72v Mantis & it'll give any 450 a run for it's money on trail or moto riding, it has 371ft lbs of torque & does 0-60 in a hair over 4 seconds WITH DIRT TIRES, but i got my controller unlocked, these bikes only come using 70% of the motors potential
Not sure on Miles but we still had 20% battery left. Lot of hill climbs, trails and road blast. I bet riding some what sensible you could put down some miles on it.
@@nickfigueroa6326I have the full size 1 & it's only 5ah more, but I'll be tired before the battery will be almost dead & in all my riding so far only got it to able 17% & that was with rocky, craggy trails, hill climbs, & racing each other down mountain roads at high speeds, how fast are you going though when riding it, if you're doing 35+ mph down trails the whole time it'll eat through your battery fast.
You must not know anything about ebikes, even cheap Chinese batteries will last at least that long, I got ebikes with 5yo batteries, & yeah, it lost 4moh in top speed & it's range is decreased, but it only costs me $4.40 for every 1,000 miles I ride, that's with repair/upkeep & electricity usage, it's a win-win! 😂
What's crazy is I have the full size Mantis & in Eco 1 it is equivalent to a 36v, 250w ebike, so I can ride it with my son like a normal bike ride at slow speeds & you'd think it'd be a pain, it's actually easier than my Raev GTX that weighs 60+ less lbs, & over you go to even Eco 2, that's where the real fun begins,& then you still have Eco 3 & Sport, which is something I really haven't even tried yet, no need to, it's already scary fast, & I rode street & dirtbikes my whole life

What would be the next step up ? If you were staying on the street 90% if the time ?

Talaria x3
Eride pro ss
Alright what are you talking me into next haha I’ve gotten a grom and an XR150L because of your videos 😂 (still have the XR and love it)
Is there a pedal conversion kit to go with the E bike? There are new pedals out there
Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder
I’d be curious to see your take on the altis Sigma MX

The bike in the picture I showed, Ultra Bee, way more expensive though.

Definitely some sick wheelies, fun and easy to ride for beginners!!!!!!! Thank you, brother! Had a blast trying it out myself!!!!!
Love seeing you get into the E-bikes too! I went from making CRF250L videos to now only E-Bikes🤣
Been riding the tits off of my Ultra Bee all summer. E-Bikes are so much fun.

Can the headlight be changed or deleted?
I don't know much about e-bikes😅
How tall are you?
Looks like Tennessee or North Carolina. After seeing the gravel maybe Washington
My Ryobi drill sounds just like that
Are you gripping one of these with your legs like you would a full size dirt bike?
Yeah, you do
Absolutely amd ciz you don't have a foot shifter or a foot brake ots so much easier to ride and more fun
What battery cells does this use? LG, Samsung, elcheapo Chinesium dangerous?
Lg i believe just look at there website
Mantis X! I love mine. I don't think I'll upgrade from stock, I don't need to. I'll replace stuff as they wear out.

How you do unlock the controller? Asking for a friend
How tall are you
Cheaper than SOME mountain bikes you mean....£3000 is not cheap for a mtb..!!!!
You didnt mention anything regarding the range. If youre on race mode the entire time the battery will probably only last 1 hour
Lasted much more than that. Was great battery life as we rode it hard for 3-4 hours+ . Definitely not its intended purpose but held up fantastic!
@ 3-4 hours? How many miles? Ill go hit trails near my house on a 25 mile trip and my battery will be almost dead in an hour?

@ now im starting to think theres something wrong with my battery if you can ride 3-4 hours on one charge

Didnt make you sweat.
Its pretty. Needs to be faster.....2.0 ......Upgrade Model.... "Mantis Erectus".
They have another faster performance 72v bike already, it’s just fairly expensive
