Watson Takes On Jeopardy!

Professor Eric Nyberg and PhD students Nico Schlaefer and Hideki Shima from the Language Technologies Institute in the School of Computer Science collaborated with IBM to develop Watson, a computer Question Answering (QA) system that can compete on the game show Jeopardy! In episodes airing February 14 - 16, 2011, Watson goes head to head with Jeopardy! champions Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter.
