  • In today's video I install and test the new Proline MX57's on my X-Maxx. These tires are great. Only complaint is the spacer required to fit the hub on the X-Maxx. This can be remedied with a new set of hubs that are longer.

Great video your Xmaxx looks great with the brute body and I’m thinking to sell my badland bead locks for these newer lighter tires!

I can't speak higher of the Brute Body. It's holding up well and I don't hold back on this truck when bashing. It's a bit more rigid so it does pop off the truck more often, but no big deal.
As for the wheels/tires. They're also quite durable and haven't worn out yet. They do add a bit of weight over the stock tires. My biggest gripe is the wheels force you to run a spacer (provided with the wheels) or upgrade your hubs\axles. I upgraded my hubs to the Proline ones that use a 24MM nut and now Proline no longer makes them. M2C produces a set of hubs/axles that would work in their place I think.

Do you know what is the different between Pro line badlands mx57 pro10198-11 and Pro line badlands mx57 PRO10198-10 ?
Which one has a belt and better?
Because it is different only number.

      Hey!
      PRO1019811 have stock 17MM hexes/hubs
      PRO1019810 have oversized 24MM hexes/hubs for 1/5 and 1/6 scale vehicles.
On my X-Maxx I'm running PRO1019810 and I ended up replacing my hubs assemblies so I didn't have to run adapters. Looks like the 24MM wheels aren't for sale on proline's site anyway.
To make life easier I'd recommend getting the PRO1019811 so you don't have to do additional modifications to make your wheels fit.

@@MK-RC I thought Xmaxx wheels are also 24 MM? Then shouldn't I use 1019810? Not sure why you had to modify? I saw on the Proline website for 1019811 says "removable hex" and 109810 does not..maybe that is only the difference? Anyway, looks like both are 24 mm...

Is it ok to still use stock tires while the foams disintegrated?

You risk ripping your tires, but since tires are typically glued on there probably wore out enough to not worry about.
