The Royal Anguilla Police Force is actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟰𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟬:𝟱𝟬 𝗔𝗠.
Preliminary reports indicate that two masked individuals, both armed with firearms, entered the establishment and robbed the Western Union cashiers of a sum approximating 𝗫𝗖𝗗$𝟭𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗦𝗗$𝟴,𝟱𝟬𝟬.
The suspects reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle immediately after the robbery.
𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
The first suspect is described as being of dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, dressed in long sleeves, black socks, and black slippers. No distinctive features were noted.
The second suspect is described as short, also wearing long sleeves.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force strongly condemns this brazen act of criminality and remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety of our community.
