There's so many advantageous in breeding your own seeds . My number 1# is mac 1 with a cheese , to make mac & cheese . It's been the fastest growing plant I have ever grown with some of the best bud I have ever seen. I have 21 different strains growing right now and my mac&cheese is at least twice the size of anything else. But like he said with the mac1 genetics it's hard to get a good plant from seed . Its best to take clones .

You’re wrong about the water leaf is connected directly to the bud next to it & if you cut it the bud won’t grow. You only need the 4 top fan leaves on any branch to keep the plant growing.

And this region I'm talking about it's very difficult for outsiders to even visit so yeah just imagine cartel land but on steroids.

Harder to control it when you don’t have beneficials taking up the real estate on the plants and in the room should you get something. So for “sterile” grows you better have SOPs that are all about cleanliness. Much more than an organic room that you never “sterilize”.

I find cutting off leaves can leave a small bit of stem that can rot and cause issues later, I prefer the "pop" technique
Those little stem pieces sometimes will dry sometimes lead to white mold
Also I have experienced 0 problems with it in veg but when I trim in flowering stage is when problems start
Probably because more water is moving through plant in flowering stage than veg. Lots of water in the buds while they are still developing
