Give me a 10+ hour story with linear gameplay focusing on marcus and JD. I want Kait to get some shine too but JD also has a story arc that isn’t finished.
Imagine Kait getting a Loki type ending where she must make a sacrifice to save Sera from the Swarm. She could defeat her mother, Queen Reyna, and then Kait could use her neural connection to the Swarm to either kill them all off or purify them from their evil. Who knows?
@MrMastermind790 same, oddly enough the open world takes away from what makes gears, well, gears. The movement controls were never meant for exploration of a big empty area. I'd rather they let us explore the Hollow's ruins if anything
Truthfully I love the chemistry between Marcus and Kait. If you get a chance to read the novel of Gears of War Ascendance. Their team up chemistry has been a fresh air.

I honestly don't mind it changing the play style from a story driven game to a choice driven game. I hope only hope the open world doesn't mess up it's story

Launching on an Xbox platinum Christmas 2026 the platinum would be probably four times the power of the series X and it can also dumb it down to play on the series X and the new handheld or the series S….. along with a dark teaser 2026 showing off the new Xbox platinum hardware that they speculate about until the next showcase to actually show it off
