I hate clapping in band. We did it a ton because people couldn’t get the rhythm in regular band so we ended up clapping rhythms a million times in a row🙄
try clapping for 2 hour straight, thats what we did in one of the honers band we where in. 3/4 of this one song all we did was clap it was no fun. the rhythm never changed in all of that time. the dynamics was FF no fun.
I’m in percussion, and this song is really sick, I love it, also the clapping part is so hard to get 😭. I swear we spent a whole 3 hours just to get it right
@@geeserable1083 I play neither BUT I want to play this song soooo baaaaaaad!! Our 8th band is playing level 5 music and Ms.Menendez does not want us to play music below a 3 now Oofers
Right here! I play center snare, my high school band is playing it this year but only using the percussion because the rest of the band sucks. I can’t wait to preform this piece! It’s so good!!!
As a tuba player, I can actually deconfirm this information. I enjoyed every second of it. So much so that when we dropped it for Encanto, I convinced my band director to let us play it the following year.
@@someone-tr7xm Yeah there was a piece we did in day band when I was in grade 11 which was apparently “grade 3” but I had to play a high b flat (I was on 1st trombone)
The clapping section will forever haunt our band's dreams...... the horn part was fun tho
