I and my husband are rich. We got rich by the help of God through Pastor Chris’ messages and we have been Christ Embassy members since 2007. We have been giving to our church, we have a foundation for helping the needy and less privileged. We are not broke and giving our money to Christ Embassy doesn’t give us sleepless nights because it is this same giving that turned our lives around barely having enough to go by to being financially comfortable 😊😊now we give in hundreds of thousands and it brings us joy that the work of God is moving.
We will keep tithing and sowing our seeds no matter who makes noise on the internet.
    Thank God for Pastor Chris❤️❤️

The issue is not about noise- LETS HAVE PROPER TEACHINGS ON THE SUBJECT. Lets not use experiences because another person will have a different experience. Another person will tell you they paid their tithes for the past 12 years and maybe didnt see their wealth increase. Even unbelievers can say "We are also making money" yet they know not God nor pay tithes. Lets deal with the subject using scriptures and revelation. lets not condemn anyone because they believe not what we believe. Be patient and brethren and share your insights, dont get angry yet

Awesome teaching sir... Thank God for the understanding. To me Abraham giving to Melchizedek is a prophecy that have been fulfilled in Christ. That why He only gave tithe once. We don't have to give tithe as faith. We are just like as he is so are we on earth. Everything we have belongs to him. We give cheerfully by his leadings. Nothing like tithing for us in Christ Jesus.

When I was thirsty you gave me to drink, what I was hungry you gave me to eat. Now, surely, I understand tithing is a must and is to Jesus, my priest. I really enjoyed this teaching. @LuckyOsei-w3v 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

With great respect to the person of the Prophet, I am not fit to correct him, and I am subject to correction if proven otherwise with superior knowledge beyond a reasonable doubt.
Faith is essential to being a Christian, as it is the foundation of salvation and relationship with God Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. "works" refers to human efforts or actions done to earn favour, salvation, or righteousness before God.
    2 Timothy 1:9
"He has saved us and called us to a holy life-not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace."
    Philippians 3:9
"And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ-the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith."
    Philippians 3:9
"And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ-the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith."
Collectively, these verses emphasize that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and not based on human effort or adherence to the law.
Tithing, however, is a voluntary act of generosity under the New Covenant and is not required for salvation or Christian identity (2 Corinthians 9:7).
In short, one can not be a Christian without faith, but one can be a Christian without tithing.

It's so humbling to hear the man of God apologizing for a statement he made.
In this teaching I agree with Angel 60%. You may want to know about the other 40%....here it is.... Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek from the spoils, not from what he had always had. Abraham was already a rich man before he met Melchizedek. If tithing was meant to be a doctrine that we can build from Abraham, then Abraham would have given Melchizedek tithes of all his possessions not just of the spoils. We also need to take note that when Abraham gave the tithe, it wasn't out of compulsion, neither did he give to be blessed, he was already blessed. 10% was also Abraham's choice to give that, not compelled. The Priest of Salem did not demand the tithe from Abraham. We cannot therefore build a doctrine out of Abraham's act. The important lesson we should learn from Abraham is giving willingly, and purposefully. The measure to give should come from the heart that is inspired by a relationship that I have with my maker. The other person to talk about is Jacob. Jacob made a promise to give the 10%. We can only assume he gave it as promised because there is no record of him fulfilling the promise he made, probably because he never met a Priest to give to. So we also cannot build a doctrine out of Jacob's promise. If tithing was a doctrine of faith, New Testament writers would surely never have missed such a vital subject

@@masausobhebhe5883 100% agree with you. 👍🏿 Here is another missed point about Tithing; Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils because that wealth was gotten by raising a sword 🗡️...therefore Abraham needed to Tithe so as to sanctify the ill gotten money! Jacob also. He had promised to give God the Tithe when he would get blessed but God never reminded him until he's sons slaughtered the men of Shechem. They plundered the town after the rape of their sister! That was ill gotten wealth so God told Jacob to change direction and go to Bethel to fulfill he's promise of Tithe. That was to sanctify the spoils of raising a sword. That's the whole deal in a nutshell. Remember that God created Mankind to be a Free Moral Agent. God doesn't command you and I to do anything. No such thing as a Law to do anything for God. Do everything that you do out of Love, full stop! 🙏🏿

WOW! What a balance teaching on Tithing from Prophet Uebert Angel. This is truly what the bible means by the scripture; 2 Timothy 2:15 '..........rightly dividing the truth'. But I would love to see the complete message. Because in as much as I agree and believe in his explanations according to how he compared scriptures bringing our the truth. I still wonder why the Apostles from the when the early church began in the book of Acts never asked the church for tithes or preached tithes. Rather it was general freewill sacrificial giving they asked for, not grudgingly, but willfully and cheerfully acccording to 2nd Corinthians 9:7.

The other parts that prophet needs to deal with here are that 1. Abraham did not pay from his land's produce. He paid from recovered loot. 2.Jacob vowed that He would pay a tithe to God if He (God) will keep him at Laban's place- give him bread and raiment. I am not sure how many years Jacob stayed at Laban's place but I am sure its more than 14 years. So is it ok to spend some time without paying tithes until God fulfills a certain vow?? 3. Who represents the Priest now? Pastors/Apostles/prophets?? Since the bible warned of false prophets how then should the NT believer be certain he is paying tithes to the right representative/office?? 4. If tithing was so important would God have surely made it known clearly to the NT church esp the first group that was later called Christians because of their love and conduct?? 5. It is true to say that tithing was done before the OT but aren't there other things which Abraham did which we can not or should NOT like marrying more than one wife? Are we now also selecting things Abraham did and choosing what to uphold and what not to do

Job had no revelation of it; that is why Job went through what he went through. Tithing was a revelation given to Abraham, just the way the first fruit was a revelation to Abel. So what he is saying is the same thing Pastor Chris has taught. Tithing is for children of faith. If you are not tithing, chances are you don't have faith, hence not even a Christian. The Bible says he who breaks the hedge, the serpent will bite. Pay attention to tithing for your own security. Don't be a carnal man. Spiritual men give tithe.

Since Apostle Paul never taught tithing nor received tithes, then according to Philippians 3:17 and 4:9, tithing by Believers is a human tradition, and not Spirit-led as is supported by the Jerusalem Council of Acts 15:28-29.
Interpreting Genesis 14:18-20 as a mandate for modern believers to tithe can be seen as a stretch. That passage describes Abraham’s unique, one-time act of honouring Melchizedek. It wasn’t framed as a command for all believers across time. Leaning too heavily on Abraham’s act might divert us from the New Covenant principles of giving joyfully and willingly.

He is very right .... However what we teach is this, if you think that tithe (10%) is greater than total surrender of ur 100, you are losing ... Be a true giver, give libral.. give always till u think there is nothing else to give.. turn up for ur neighbor, turn up for the essentials in Gods house( projects), turn up for your family... Be a true giver... Not just the 10% and leave the essentials... Tithe is not it rather live with generosity... Dont tie urself to 10%(the tithe)...

@@wiz-jazzy288 don't go against God's word, He knows what he meant by 10% He is not in need of your money. Don't act like King Saul, follow instructions from God's word as it is written. Don't be too smart, because you are not smarter than God.

@@OcholiSule if you study well, you will understand that our God is a progressive God... Tithe did not start under the law because Abraham was not under the law when he gave it likewise jacob ...
The tithe was and is an art of worship.. now think it through, how can a man be tied to 10 percent of their earnings to a God who have them ALL (His Son), does that make sense at all... We are bought with a full price therefore, everything we think we owned belongs to him not just a 10%...
So nobody should place a curse on anyone because of the tithe... It's not a must but necessary, however Charity is the greatest... Give bro.. help ur neighbors the more...

To be honest, if you want to see those who preach for their belly and those who are really called. Church-tithe=true pastors. If God tru called you he will touch people's hearts and will sustain you. You do not need to put the church members under tithing.

I won't give to the pastors , giving to the poor and needy is giving right . God does not need any money in the Church . He is the provider in all things , once i give to the least of His brothers i have given to Him .Must i give to the pastors to help me give to God? Africa wise up.

Tithing is not a money principle.... It's an HONOUR principle. You tithe as a sign of honour, to the Lord with your finances, not so that you can be blessed. In Christ you are already blessed😊

@@daltondalton5501 even if some of the richest men in the world are not tithing, they understand giving more and they also give more than the Christians who are still struggling with their tithe. The whole idea of tithing is to teach you how to be liberal so God can commit more resources to you. Giving your tithe May not make you the richest Man in the world. But it will lift u above lacks and wants. It will lift u above financial struggles and hopeless. Those that are tithing don't complain. U that don't tithe you are the ones complaining.
